I color my hair monthly with a 1:1 ratio of ColorSilk "bright auburn" and "medium auburn", which works with my med-dark brown hair. If I go with the straight bright auburn, it fades out with a pinkish cast. The color combo works, but needed a liiiiiittle something to warm it up without tipping over into unnatural looking. This Zucca conditioner worked perfectly. I use it when I wash my hair once a week. It conditions nicely and didn't fade out at all. Perfect warm copper glow, and it looks like fresh color (except for my roots).

So, story time.... my stylist applied a permanent color that was very uneven. Reddish in some areas, dark brown in others. Looking to return to my natural color or, at least, even things out, I used a color remover product. I rinsed it from my hair, unwrapped the towel from my head, and discovered that my hair was orange. After I regained my senses, I applied this product like a hair mask. Thankfully, I already had this product on hand and didn't have to drive to the store with orange hair on Father's Day weekend. I applied the product generously, using most of the container. I let it stay on about 5-7 minutes while I started a load of laundry. OMG ya'll my hair looked so good!!! Even color; soft, moist texture; shiny and healthy-looking. This product saved the day!!!

I got baby highlights for the first time but the color was very yellow and a little too bright for me. I wanted it to look very natural. The color dorato was perfect, toned it down a little and my hair also felt very soft after.Only con is I wish you got more product.

This product is simply awful. Not only was the color unimpressive on my hair but this stuff leaks out of the flimsy lid and stains EVERYTHING. I now have red stains in my bathroom that will never come out. It also stains your hands when you use it so if you do buy it for some reason USE GLOVES! I love Madison Reeds regular hair dye but this stuff just needs to be discontinued.

It's a nice conditioner. It smells great and my hair felt so soft after using it. But it doesn't add much color. It added a little to the brown hair I have, but didn't do anything for my gray hair. The packaging was also broken and the lid was open when I received it.

I used the caffe between dye jobs at my salon. I am more than 1/2 gray, but not ready to let brunette go. I touch up every 5 weeks. This worked to reduce the fading and brassiness. One 3-minute application about halfway through my 5 weeks is all it takes for rich color. It is not as shiny as I would like, so I will be trying the gloss next. This is the best replacement I found so far for the Aveda clove conditioner which is no longer available.

It says on the bottle to use everyday for color. I used almost half the bottle my first use and my husband couldn’t even tell I used it. I do have hair past my shoulders and it is thick…but i can’t use a half bottle everyday and with little result. It smells pleasant and feels good in my hair so I gave it two stars

I use this on my light brown hair when I'm tired of the ends being too blonde and light. It works great, leaves my hair super soft, and once a week I'll use it. I also just started tinting my eyebrows with it. It's not shocking different at first but that was the subtleness I was looking for.
