I ordered these for my girls who absolutely love drawing and when I mentioned that I found some rainbow pencils they could try out they were so excited!The pack of 12 come ready sharpened / ready to use and so far I had a little scribble with them as my girls are away at the moment so they'll be very happy to have these to be creative with when they return :)There are 4 different designs, the positions of the colours are slightly different in the different styles with different colours in each. There are plenty of different ways to draw with these, generally by slightly twisting the pencil around a little whilst using gives a good rainbowy effect. The colours and styles of each are shown on the outside of each pencil :)I'm very sure they will be very happy with these - they feel strong and durable and a really good size.I'm not so artistic at all - so I just wrote and scribbled a bit in the first photo to give you a quick idea of what can be done. Hopefully I can add a couple of their pictures to this review when they've had a go with them too :) Great rainbow pencils :)

12 large multi colour pencils which feel comfortable to hold. They are all the same colours inside the pencil but the design on the outside does vary. The shades are pretty and achieve a good depth of colour on the paper.You can draw in a straight line or carefully colour at an angle to achieve 1 colour from the pencil or use the entire nib in a swirling motion to create multiple colours at once. Personally feel it’s a bit much having 12 of basically the same pencil so I would split these up and use them as party favours in children’s party bags.

I love these colourful pencils. They are fabulous, and both me and my kids have had a lot of fun with them when creating colour drawings and adding highlights to text in our junk journals.This set of 12 pencils is all the same colour but has four different designs to make it even more fun. Each pencil has eight colours in a combination of four at either end.I love that I can get different results every time I use them. It is always a surprise what colour combination I have on paper. You can get great effects by changing the angle you use the pen at and twisting it while colouring.This is so creative and fun. I highly recommend these quality colouring pencils for home schooling art classes, journaling, doodling, drawing, and many other creative projects.

I remember having this kind of pencil when I was a kid, I loved them then, and I'm loving them now too.You get a lot for the price, very good value.The pencils are double ended with a mixture of different colours at each end, pretty much you have primary colours at one end and secondary at the other. The led is wide enough that you can use the colours individually, or just sketch with them and have a beautiful rainbow mix.I've got one of these permanently in my sketching kit, they are great for taking outdoors as you only really need one colour pencil.

These are very similar to the much more expensive Koh-in-oor multicolour pencils - with 4 colours of crayon fused together in one pencil. As the angle of the pancil changes when you write, the line of drawing changes colour. The result is unpredictable, and each drawing is therefore unique in colours.This set has two ends - with another 4 colours in the reverse end; so a single pencil has a lot of use.The crayon is excellent - easily putting down a strong coloured line. It sharpens well - but my advice is to use if a bit blunt as this maximises the colour effect.They make a great inexpensive present for children in the 5-12 age group. This is helped by the strong cardboard box packaging.

Lots of jumbo madness to be had here. Really good quality pencils for kids that like to go large with their pictures and with their colours - which, let's face it, is all kids. There are a good variety of colours. Suitable for younger kids too as they will, being do jumbo, withstand a lot of abuse that younger kids usually mete out to inanimate objects.

At first these pencils look like great fun, all bright colours in a variety of choice. Yet each pencil is the same. Each end has 4 colours, meaning each pencil can draw 8 different colours, but it is not as easy as that. Making sure you are getting the colour you want can be problematic and it is too easy to get another colour instead of what you want. This can create frustrations in your little one - or it can be turned into a game.On the plus side it means only needing one pencil at a time, but this also means spoilt drawings.
