Brilliant Sound Quality - Great Value
We used these for a small sound booth at our church. They are compact, affordable and produce brilliant, clear sound. The highs are crisp and the bass belies the small size of these speakers. These produce no discernible distortion, even when pushed to higher volume levels. They are simple and easy to hookup and use, with various inputs and outputs, as well as a convenient front-mounted volume control and headphone output. The speaker wire is a little on the short side, but was adequate for our application. It uses a simple push connector to connect the two speakers together with. It's not high-tech but it works.Overall, I'm extremely pleased with these and may even get a second set for my home computer. Great value and great performance...

Better than expected
Well built, feels solid, size and sound quality far better than expected compared to the typical cheap sound bars, but still affordable. Easy setup and power and connect, requires a little space, but worth the price. Good stereo separation and imaging.

Great sound for reasonable money.
I mostly use these for gaming and they have phenomenal sound for a reasonable price. Although they are slightly bigger than I expected but that's my fault for not measuring correctly as you can see they are on their side. Still sound great I have them on the sound dampening things they come with and I have some actual good sound dampening stuff coming, but realistically and I mean I haven't put them through their paces with crazy music or anything because it's a little after 1:00 a.m. here when I'm testing them so I don't want to irritate my neighbors, but I'm playing game of thrones music through them and they sound fantastic. Also they are very simple to set up. I saw a couple of comments on here saying that they were complicated to set up they're not If you have more than two brain cells rubbing together. Are they more complicated than $30 red dragon speakers? Yes, those are plug and play and they sound like pure ass, these are actual real speakers that, dear God, have an extra step. Seriously the extra step is plug speaker wires into the speakers. Red goes to red black goes to Black. Very very very simple.

Sound great but prone to EMF static.
Really nice sounding speakers but beware they do induce static noises pretty easily from EMF. I only use them with my smart TV but for this purpose they sound phenomenal. Again, I can hear EMF induced static noises sometimes which can be a bit annoying. Otherwise these would be a five star purchase.

Completely exceeded my expectations
This was a spur of the moment purchase. I just resurrected a PC that I built 12 years ago and, after giving my son my Corsair SP2500 2.1 setup for a gaming rig he built, I decided that I need a basic 2-ch replacement.Did some research and kept coming back to these and M-Audio BX4. I also set a budget of $100 as I have a dedicated 2-ch audio system for serious listening. I figured for playing music while I surf or rip CDs and Blu-ray, I didn't set the bar that high. And, I'm not a DJ or sound mixer/creator so I figured these were just right. What I DIDN'T figure was how good these sound. For now, I'm just using my laptops audio out jack to RCA in on the 3.5s. Volume is 12 o'clock and my laptop vol is 33.I was figuring bass would be minimal, at best, but I'm pleasantly surprised. I don't want these very loud since they will be for near-field use only. But, they will go way louder than I need. And, that's using my laptops Creative audio card. My Asus XONAR D1 on my desktop is a better card for audio quality so it should sound even better.I am streaming Qobuz app on Win 10 and it outperforms my expectations. Bass is deeper than I thought it would be considering the small driver and mids and highs are good considering the price tag. I definitely thought the bass would be thin but that is not what I've found. Binge listening to 15 hours of Porcupine Tree (which is very well-recorded) and these 3.5s...all I keep thinking of is "Man, these were a GREAT buy."I listen to rock, metal, industrial and some ambient music... No rap, R&B, etc, so deep bass isn't a concern, anyway. I have a Rythmik sub on my main audio system so I got all the bass that I can handle, anyway. The only tweaks that I made are replacing the included speaker wire with some 16ga that I have plenty of. And, I bought a more substantial 3.5mm to RCA cable than the generic one that came with it.If these last a good 4-5 years, that will be a bonus but, so far, these are a steal, IMO.

Great Sounding Near Field Monitors
These are really great nesr field monitors. The bass is tight and solid and for my taste I turn the bass down to about 11:00 o'clock, and the treble to about 1:00 o'clock. Mids and highs are clear and clean. I set the volume to about 1:o'clock. With the PC volume at max they are plenty loud. It was a choice between these and the Mackie's for the exact same price. The deciding factor was separate bass and treble controls on these vs. the single tone knob on the Mackie's. It was a difficult decision because I'm familiar with larger Mackie's and they sound great, so I assumed the small ones would also. I knew that ProSonus also have a great reputation as well. I am more than satisfied with these Eris 3.5 models!!I almost never write product reviews but for these I had no choice. Purchase with confidence. You'll be glad you did and they sound GREAT, especially for only $99 bucks!!
