Audien ATOM 2 Wireless Rechargeable OTC Hearing Aid, Premium Comfort Design and Nearly Invisible

The customer service for Audien is the best I have had in a very long time. I ordered this and was a little sceptical if they would be any good. I have a mild to medium hearing loss and the price was good for a hearing aid. Got them and charged them and put the first one in. No fancy adjusting very simple. Was shocked at how clear the words on tv was. Put in the second one and could not get it to work. Really liked the way the first one worked so decided to call the help number provided. Rang 3 times and a live, yes I said live, person answered. Aleli listen to my problem and said would ship me new ones, give me a return label for the defective pair, and was really sorry this happened. In 3 hrs I got an e mail back with return label and confirmation a new pair will be shipped. I have every confidence this is going to be a great purchase. Other companies could take lessons on their customer service. If you need a hearing aid this is it

I ordered these hearing aids for my mother. The first pair were fine, but she lost one so I ordered these thinking they would be the same. My Mom is also legally blind. The hearing aids are positioned in the charger differently and they have a sound adjustment which is hard to keep your fingers off of when placing them in your ear. They have a terrible feedback scream and they echo. I realize part of the problem was operator error, but the other ones didn't have these issues and I wanted the same product.

Recently I ordered a set of Atom Hearing Aids. They are great, although a little large which was expected. I had been looking at ordering the Atom 2's but hadn't decided to yet due to them being smaller and easier to adjust. I was impressed as well by a representative from Audien, his name was Bryce, contacting me through email to make sure the Atom Hearing Aids were working ok and if there was anything he could help me with. I told him they were great all was good. But I was interested in purchasing the Atom 2's but had some questions. Bryce and I emailed back and forth several times and I decided to go ahead and purchase the Atom 2 hearing aids. After receiving them, I followed the instructions and charged the batteries. Due to the smallness of the Hearing Aids and me having big hands they were a challenge to get inserted correctly especially with the alignment of my ear canal. But it worked out. Secondly, I had a problem with feedback, I reviewed the instructions but there wasn't a clear answer. So I searched Youtube and found out that if you have feedback you need to use a larger ear plug. So I did and that fixed the feedback problem. Secondly, don't wear these in a shop with grinders and equipment running. But all in all I can hear again and the support from Bryce and Audien is excellent. So far I haven't had any issues with either set. I would recommend these hearing aids to anyone that has a problem hearing and also that wants/needs to save money. Also Bryce has provided excellent support and concern that his and Audiens product meets and exceeds expectations. I am more than pleased with the product and customer support.Bobby Phelps

VERY VERY VERY DISAPPOINTED.....I know we only get what we pay for, but I fell for the words in the ads. They do make sounds louder, everything sounds louder, just scratching your ear sounds seems extra loud and annoying. When you turn your head and your collar rubs on your neck, Bham another sound. I am sure from regular hearing aide users that they are built to absorb and relay these sounds differently. Lesson learned.

These suck! I've given them a chance, but they do more harm than good. I just had a visit with a friend that tends to talk softly, and the hearing aids amplified the sound from the washing machine far, far more than voice. These hearing aids are truly awful!I wrote a note to Audien asking about amplification profiles and didn't get a response.

I gave these a try. While I was a bit impressed at first with the quality of sound, there were a few problems that persisted. I even exchanged them for a 2nd pair to see if that would resolve my problems.First of all, I noticed an intermittent persistent hum. No matter how I positioned them in my ear or which ear cones I used, the problem persisted. It got irritating after awhile.The other issue I had was the some of the sounds that were amplified. The sound quality is so clear that I could hear my spouse in the other room talking on the phone and I could even hear the voice of the other person on the phone. By the way, the hearing aides were on the lowest volume.I bought these hoping to help me with my main problem, hearing people CLOSE to me talking, and not being interrupted from the surrounding voices and background sounds. I was at a party the other night, and I had to take them out when I was in a small group of 4 guys talking. I couldn't really hear them clearly because the hearing aide was so good at amplifying the other people in the room.I'm going to look for another hearing aide that 1, does not have an intermittent hum, and 2 reduces the background ambience noise so that I can better distinguish the closer conversation, perhaps with some form of noice cancellation.

The Audien Hearing Aids that I purchased have been a great benefit in helping me to more effectively deal with the hearing loss problems that I was having. Even though I do not wear them in all situations, they help me very much to more effectively function whether it is while watching TV or while involved in conversations with others. I have also been very pleased with the assistance that has been given my with the customer service staff at Audien. Each person with whom I have spoken has been a tremendous help and was very pleasant to work with. Many thanks to all.
