I took photos of the OE spool and the one from this vendor and they are an exact match. OE is on the left in both photos. I recommend using plenty of lubricant to keep the new install lasting for years to come. The plastic is much stronger on first impressions and aside from some light sanding on the spool, this will definitely save money over purchasing a whole window regulator at almost $200! This was installed on a 2016 Hyundai Tucson SE.

Tried this on a 2016 Tuscon, the OD of the pulley is to big. This caused the cable to be short and not allowing the pulley to fit back onto the panel.

Not easy to install but a big money saver compared to replacing the whole panel. Look for videos online. It took me forever to get the first one on and the second one was fast because I figured out what works. Watch a video but the short explanation is you need to squeeze the 2 wires together when you spin the gear spool into position and drop it in the opening. Make sure you match how the old one was installed. If the wires are crossed you flipped it the wrong way. It will seem impossible to install correctly but it is actually fairly easy if you squeeze the wires close together and spin it real quick. It may take a few tries but if gripping the wires correctly and flipping the correct direction it works. I used angled pliers which worked better for holding the wires and being out of the way of the flip over move. These save lots of money and can be easier that replacing the whole assembly. I used 2 of them and am saving the other 2 because they all fail and it is just a matter of time. Make sure to add some lube so they don't bind or stick.

Checked to see if it was compatible with my 2016 Hyundai and it said it was, but none of the pieces fit. Very misleading and do not recommend!
