Great for test-taking
These are carpenter pencils but I am not a carpenter, so I cannot tell you how well they perform in that setting. I can tell you that they are good quality, and the mechanism works well. I find them to be excellent for test-taking, when you have to fill out the Scantrons, as they have rectangular leads and are perfect for filling in those rectangles. I have also used them for doing puzzles, but be careful because the lines may be a bit uneven due to the lead's odd shape. I really like them and would buy them again.

Pencils are not packaged for sale. Just loose in envelope. My order was missing 5 pieces
These pencils are great for sketching and have a nice thick lead. However……poor packaging and missing pieces. Order from elsewhere. Amazon should remove this vendor

Love them - but does anyone know what size these are?
The lead size is not clear on the packaging or the actual pencils. They say the hardness is 2B, but what size is the lead? It could be 0.9 or 1.3 but I cannot tell from the packaging or the pencils. Very frustrating.

LOVE THEM!!
Love these they are my go to pencils!! The lead shows up and is super easy to read with out having to apply pressure and the retectangle lead makes it to where it does not break easily!
