This is a decent quality mirror with a rose gold finish. Both sides are the same magnificationIt can be held or used with the stand, I also found that the stand can be folded back to suspend the mirror from a ledge and this has been very useful in my craft roomI spend most days in there and have been known to answer the front door with paint on my face!It is actually bigger than it looks on Amazon, so the idea it will fit in a handbag is a bit of oversell.
