The SZBJ IR Repeater Kit BJ-104 extends your remote control range by transmitting IR signals across a wide frequency band (34KHz-56KHz), compatible with all IR-controlled AV devices. It supports controlling up to 8 devices simultaneously (expandable to 12) and allows hiding devices out of sight while maintaining instant, no-delay control via a high-sensitivity sensor. Additional receivers and transmitters can be added for a fully customized IR control setup.

Easy and reliable
I have a media cabinet with various equipment housed behind either frosted glass doors or a metal grille. The cabinet is positioned behind a sofa blocking line-of-sight for all but the top shelves. I've used a number of other IR repeaters in the past with varying success. If the receivers were located within the cabinet it was necessary to be very precise as to angle and distance when using a remote making operation rather hit and miss. With this unit the receiver is behind the frosted glass, but works every time from a usual operating distance of about 4.5 mtrs and all practical angles. It also has the advantage of the ability to use a 3.5mm Aux/Audio cable to connect it to the "IR In" socket at the back of my AVR (mainly an aesthetic matter in my case). As others have noted setup is very easy.

all the ports and connections are clearly marked. The emitters are compact and flexible and everything works as intended. Overall, I am pleased to recommend this repeater
