Decent STEAM project for the $
My son, who is 13, took two hours to put this together. He had a few complaints along the way with the directions not being clear enough, but for the most part had fun with it. Definitely a project for a preteen or teen with no parent help. Younger kids need Mom or Dad’s help.

Needs 5 batteries!
First and foremost since I couldn't find an answer before I bought them: EACH KIT REQUIRES 5 AA BATTERIES!!The boxes don't come labeled with what's inside so they aren't super giftable, which is why I'm deducting a star. They look simple enough to put together and the instructions are very very clear and well-illustrated with actual photos, but I am giving them as part of a gift so I won't be able to update that.

Wire assembly panel broken in box
Purchased this car for my grandson, who loves the Stem kits, for Christmas. He recently put his kit together. He loves the car, but the wire assembly was broken in the box, so consequently there’s no movement. Disappointed…wish we could get a new assembly
