This thing is great! Easy to program. My kitty kibble is medium size and it handles it well. I've unplugged it and plugged it back in and it goes right back to it's schedule. Holds quite a bit of food!

We don't use it all the time, mostly when we leave for a couple of days. I like that you can record your own msg and add extra servings or feedings so even if you have more than 2 cats (since this only has 2 bowls) you can adjust it so everyone has an opportunity to eat.

Well it has a good run. It ran for 2 years and then it just stopped working. It wasn't even the motor, the digital screen just does.Honestly, it was a decent feededer. My boys did move it around a bunch because they found that when they shake it, some kibble drops. Not enough to be detrimental, just a little snackaroo.

The media could not be loaded. It was easy to set up and it holds a LOT of food. I could go away for about 10 days knowing my cats are fed. I use the separator so it fills 2 bowls every meal for both my boys, so if you only have 1 cat it would last way longer. Took a few minutes of trial and error to get the right portion size compared to using a scooper, but I found it and was easily able to set up 12hr feedings. It fit my larger kibbles (royal canin appetite control feline) which I was very worried about when I purchased, but very pleased to learn! I keep mine plugged in with the backup batteries installed in case of a power outage and I set a recording to play my voice when it’s feeding time. Good size and appearance. The bowls are slanted, but sit low to the ground, so I’m looking into getting a stand for them to sit higher without tipping over (when one of my cats tries to sit on top of it 🙄). Overall pleased with my purchase!!

I originally bought an automatic feeder with the hope that it would deter my two cats from waking me up too early to feed them. It was effective for a month or so until they realized how easy this thing was to tip over. They can also pop the lid off easily since it doesn’t attach very securely. Every night, I hear them pawing and scratching at the feeder and bumping it around. If it’s still standing in the morning, food drops onto the bare floor because they’ve detached the bowls. I can’t even give an estimate of how many times I’ve come home and to bloated bellies and had to scoop handfuls of food back into the container because it’s so easy to tip over. I wish this thing were more sturdy. Basic feeding functions work fine, but it doesn’t take much for my cats to get more than they’re supposed to have. I might argue that this purchase has made more trouble for me than if I’d continued just feeding them myself.

We bought one of these in the summer of 2023 and were satisfied with it overall, but as of December of 2024, the motor pretty much burned out and it would never connect to the WiFi. Since it's easy to clean, has the recording option and the app feature, we bought a new one to replace it. I'm sad to say I wish I had tested the replacement further before I threw the packaging out because I would've returned it. The sound of the recording is much more muffled and not as loud. It connects to the WiFi at first, and then never connects again, making the app unusable. We had purchased two of these since we just added more kitties to our crew, but we returned the second after realizing this is no longer the best option for us. We paid less for another brand that's connected all of the time and has a louder, clearer speaker on it. To be clear, you can manually set everything from the unit itself and if you just need it for timed feedings, it's a great product, but if you're paying more for app features that don't work, this is likely not the product for you.
