Very cool but it doesn’t fit my dog correctly. I think it’s because he’s a boxer/pit so he has that large chest.

This was weird and didn’t really stay on my dog. He did not love it. It was an odd size. Wouldn’t stay upright. Legs with too long.

I've been buying my dogs costumes in advance of the holiday season... this looks really cute online. In person, this is truly awful. First of all, it's not a costume. It's a dollar store halloween spider prop. The spider body and legs are fine, but basic. The skull head looks decent in the picture -- but in person it's much smaller and literally styrofoam. The fabric wrapped around the head in red or green is cheap cheesecloth that is just tacked on with some glue. I'm not sure about the red color, but the green is also a bright green, not the darker green pictured. Once you get past that, it gets worse. The straps that appear like a thin harness in the picture are in reality felt fabric with a cheap velcro strap you'd buy at a craft store. Surprisingly they did stitch the velcro strap to the felt with a box stitch. BUT, the dollar store spider is just hot glued onto the felt backing. You can easily see the hot glue. I could make this myself with purchases from the dollar store for $5 in about 10 minutes, so that tells you how little it cost them to produce this thing that they are trying to sell for nearly $20. Oh, and it has a tab with a metal ring sewed onto the felt for you to attach your dog's leash to and use this as a harness -- ABSOLUTELY NOT. Do not use this as a harness. Any dog over 10 lbs could easily pull and rip the felt or undo the velcro. This is not safe to use as an actual harness. They should remove this feature as it is a hazard and unsafe. If this was priced at $8-9, I wouldn't write such a scathing review... but this is really absurd at this price. Someone's greed is really out of control here.

every small dog or cat owner needs this costume. its so cute when they move around in it.

This costume is both eerie and fun, making your pup the center of attention at any costume party or trick-or-treat event. The spider legs can be a bit intimidating for skittish pets. Some dogs may not be comfortable wearing this costume due to its size and movement, but overall, it is a fun and creative choice for dog owners who want their pup to make a spooky statement this Halloween.

This is basically a foam skull glued to pipe cleaner-style spider legs. It is cute, and will suit our needs okay (we wanted a spider costume for our dog) but I will probably tear the skull off and have to redo some of it to make it look decent. But basically it's velcro and some poorly constructed fabric over spider legs, it's definitely low quality. It probably looks better on small dogs than big due to the size as well. Overall it's only $17 at the time of this review and it might be worth about that or just under. So you get what you pay for.

While this looks amazing, it is not really practical. It keeps falling to one side. My dog can't really wear it for an extended period of time. It might be good for a photo op. But it's not practical to wear as an actual costume on Halloween.

My dog doesn't hate it, though he doesn't love it either.It's lightweight, so that's nice. It fits him well and looks as described. Seems like it's made pretty well.I don't know that I would trust it as a harness with the leash as it seems he could get out of it pretty easily.Still, we're ready to walk our spider during Halloween!
