Nicee
This thing works great and is suprisingly small, so its easy to store. It takes some practice but if it does fail to bind its quick and easy to try again without using up a teflon tube, this takes less then a minuet to heat up and bind within seconds. very cool and useful. I think £40 is slightly steep but if you print enough itll make up for the price in lost filiment. You get a good few teflon tubes or binding tubes which is lucky becasue i have not found anywhere to buy more besides aliexpress, these tubes can be resused if you are able to slide them off the end of the filiment when binded despite what people say.

Takes practise but works.
Seems to work ok. It took three attempts on my first try but improved from there. It's a bit fiddly and I did print a "helper" for it (which was very handy). Overall worth the money and will be useful again in the longer term.

Doesnt work, failed in hot end twice
Tried to join two spool ends, rather than bin the roll ends. The filament was the same manufacturer and same diamater, but both times filament split at the join in the print head. which required a full strip down of the hotend to remove the blockage as the filament had mushroomed out on one end and couldnt be fed through the hotend and couldnt be retracted.

Doesn't work.
The join is too brittle and cannot be put on a spool as it just snaps. Great idea but don't waste your money.
