Excellent for fair skin.
Like so many other reviewers, I've long bemoaned my inability to find makeup that doesn't make me look orange, bright pink, or otherwise discoloured. Apparently manufacturers have a difficult time believing that people can be this pale (yes, yes we can). I wouldn't even consider myself the palest person I know and, as such, I find it doubly baffling that so few companies cater to a wider range of skin tones. (This is, of course, equally true for darker skin tones.) This is the case with high street brands, eco brands, and expensive "customisable" brands, as well.I had taken to ordering BB cream from South Korea as I found a single variety cool-toned enough for my skin; it was promptly discontinued and, in either case, broke me out terribly. Fresh had a liquid foundation that matched me perfectly but they, too, discontinued their line.Luckily, Lily Lolo has saved the day. I've been using their foundation almost exclusively for over a year now (I first purchased some in early July 2014). I had dabbled with mineral makeup in the past (you're all familiar with the big name in the business) but found it chalky, heavy, sheer, drying, and of course not a match for my skin tone. This stuff, however, checks almost all the boxes. I would say the colour is actually a touch too pale for me except for the winter; I've experimented mixing in a tiny amount of China Doll (the next shade up) but find it easier to just use a normal amount of blusher or bronzer over top instead, and that does the trick just fine (it isn't as though I ever tan enough to warrant going up a shade).I find the coverage light-to-medium. Yes, you can build up (to a degree) over blemishes and dark circles, but if you get too heavy-handed it does get cakey--such is the way of mineral foundation, and not a product fault. It evens out my skintone very well. Over blemishes, I do find I need to dab a touch of liquid cover-up and layer it with the powder. I've used Lily Lolo's cover-up as well, but the fairest was actually significantly lighter than this foundation shade (which is a bit bizarre, considering) and left me with white-looking blotches where I'd used it. Until I shell out for the next shade up in cover-up, the layering trick works fine. The tone of this is cool and neutral enough not to look pink, yellow, or orange on me. It covers my rosacea 'blush' quite adequately. For under eye spots, I really enjoy Lily Lolo's own eye primer (one half is eyelid primer, the other half is a yellow-based cream concealer for under-eye darkness) in combination with this foundation. They also have a green-toned powder for anyone with more significant redness (I intend to try this out for blemish coverage at some point in the future). In terms of wear, I would say you get a good 6 hours (in ambient temperature etc) before it starts to look a little rough. By the 8 hour mark it's settled rather distinctly into pores and fine lines, and could use a touch-up. This is highly dependent on your skin type: mine is very oily in the T-zone with very dry cheeks, and I notice the settling far more in the dry areas. Not a deal-breaker by any means, but one must expect that no mineral makeup is going to go 12 hours and through a water park with you.I love that it has never irritated my very, very reactive skin. I don't notice more breakouts when I wear this (even when wearing a heavy layer) or fewer when I go a few days without. It does a nice job of toning down oiliness. I find that a jar lasts me about 3-4 months, which isn't bad at all.I would highly recommend ordering several sample sizes of foundation to find your match. Once that's done, play around with the buildability of this foundation and see if it meets your needs. Hopefully you will love it as much as I do.

Lily Lolo Mineral Foundation
This is a really great product, it's really natural looking and I've finally found a makeup that's the correct colour for my skin! I've been (unhappily) using liquid foundation for just under a year and I hate the feel and even the look, but it covers my skin. Lily Lolo is a great product but for my skin it doesn't cover me as much as I feel confident, but I'll be definitely using it on days when I have good skin! For anyone who's wondering it is definitely worth the price, it's cruelty-free, with SPF 15 and best of all, it's minerals, so it's all natural looking and feels great!Update: I purchased last month at the start of April and now it's almost the middle of May, although it may not provide full coverage for my skin it's definitely a product worth coming back for and paying the extra amount that usual! My skin feels much better after using this, I'm sure most liquid foundation users would be converted to this after a few uses!

Perfect:)
I was really sceptical about all the good reviews. I have really pale skin, (a ginger Scottish girl was never going to have anything other than milk white skin! ) and have tried many different types of foundation claiming to be light which always gave me a horrible orange line looking like a seriously bad fake tan. I gave up on being able to wear foundation and haven't for a long time. But I also have greasy spot prone skin so I didn't want to try yet another liquid to break my skin our again, so after a google search and a thorough read of reviews, I decided to give foundation one more try! I bought this foundation sunday night and it arrived this morning (tuesday) so it was super fast to arrive. The brush Iordered for this hasn't yet arrived, but I was desperate to try it out so I used a make up puff which doesn't give the flawless look a brush does, but it was enough for me to see the colour and expected coverage and im delighted! A foundation which can be builded up to give a fuller coverage or left so you can have a more natural finish and the colour is fantastic. No horrible orange line! You would need the concealer to completely cover spots but this evens the skin tone and gets rid of the dreaded shine. With the added spf15, us mega pale girls can rest easy knowing our sun sensitive skin is getting some protection as well as looking good. I would only advise this shade if you really are truly white, not imagined pale as it is very pale. If you have even a wee bit of colour in your complexion, I'd advise going the shade up from this.

I used to love this foundation as it never caused breakouts but i think it has changed the ingredients in recent years as before it seemed to have more light reflecting pigments and seemed to go on smoother which didn't accentuate pores and fine lines. Now when i apply it after moisturising it sits in every line and pore making my skin look dry and bland, maybe my skin has just changed with age but i don't think this is a flattering foundation for anyone in their 30s. I would love to see Lily Lolo bring out a new foundation for sensitive but more mature skin.

Waste of money
Poor coverage, not long lasting, highlights any imperfections instead of disguising. Really really disappointed as choose this to replace a liquid foundation as mineral foundation is supposedly better for your skin but I will not be buying it again or even finishing the jar! Don’t waste your money!
