best drop in stick modules on the market for xbox series controllers!
these are IMO the best option out there for those with the xbox series 1914 model controllers. just remove the old stock modules, drop these in and solder them in and quickly calibrate them through the xbox app. They are damn near perfect in their circularity and center deadzone. I've been using these for a little over a month now and have yet to see any deviation from the sticks' center position. Many of the stock ALPS modules from a few of my controllers started getting stick drift within a month or two of regular use playing FPS games. I've been making it a point to be a bit harder on these TMR sticks and they are holding up just fine so it gives me confidence that these will hopefully last much longer than those old ALPS sticks that xbox and playstation insist on using. Do keep in mind though that some soldering experience is highly recommended before trying to do this upgrade. You can easily mess up the board's traces if you're new to soldering and don't have the right tools to do the job right. If you have the tools and skills though I highly recommend these!

Best Replacement Part
This joystick is a good replacement; it feels just like the OEM. It arrived well protected, which is a huge plus. I can say this because of the small pins on the joystick. It was the best purchase I've ever made. The repair was super easy. I should also say I have soldering skills. Not professional, but it's something. If you're good at following instructions, there are good videos on YouTube for disassembling the controller and for soldering as well.

Take your time!
Have done 3 controllers now. These have all been pretty close to center as-is. Further calibration is easy on the online dual sense calibration gui. Just take your time and use the fine tune beta to get everything to 0.00.Most importantly, removing the original modules must be done very carefully, so as to not overheat the boards. I recommend a desoldering gun. Even so, I damaged 2 of the older boards getting the knack of it. The newer controller boards [with green, yellow, black and red wires] are more forgiving in my opinion.

What a Difference $3 Makes!
I purchased two versions of the AKNES TMR joystick replacements—one branded with "GuliKit" and one without. Both are made by AKNES. I first installed the unbranded set, but one of the joysticks turned out to be defective. This suggests there might be some quality control issues with the unbranded version. That said, customer service was great—they promptly sent me a replacement with no hassle, which I really appreciate. In terms of performance, the unbranded version isn’t bad. However, when compared to the "GuliKit" version, there's a noticeable difference in error rate and circularity. For just $3 more, the GuliKit-branded kit is well worth the extra cost.

A true game changer!
These are long awaited. An excellent drop in replacement that boasts amazing accuracy, easy installation, and low power consumption.I resurrected a PS5 controller I was convinced was a lost cause. I held on to it in hopes that something would eventually come out to fix the issue. The drift and jitter was the worst I’ve seen, and cleaning/calibrating was useless. After installing the TMR sticks and calibrating, it is perfect. I mean, perfect. This controller belonged to a friend and they were so happy I was able to fix it, and for a great price. There should be no more excuses for the controller manufacturers any longer, but we will see. These could potentially rid the controller industry of its number one issue.

Fed up with stick drift - good purchase if you can handle the install.
I've been replacing my controllers every time stick drift starts, but this last one happened after 4 months and i was sick of it. only about 3 days in but i can feel the extra level of precision and responsiveness with the new technology. These sticks works great, install is tough, definitely need de-solder tool and some flux paste. only reason i went with 4 stars is the stick test online shows some decent variation in outside limit. No affect to gameplay, but could be better. i had to do about 6 calibrations in the Xbox app to get it to this accurate.

Bad first batch, second doesn't seem better
I spent some time soldering these new sticks into my BDM-010 controller after adding back buttons to find the right stick not responding to down. Reached out to Amazon since manufacturer wasn't readily available. They sent out new pair without having to unsolder these ones. Installed new set and now my controller is having hardware connection issues. I don't know if it's the color (was reading there are orange and blue ones) or what the problem is. The first batch just wasn't responding to down, this set has caused a hardware issue...I'm confused.
