This tone up cream from Cell Fusion C gives a lighter appearance but also is super moisturising. Tone up cream isn't meant for all skintypes as it can have a white cast to it. The ingredients are good and my skin looks blurred and pretty. This is a no-makeup look cream but it will tint your skin one to two shades lighter so use a light hand when applying.

I really like this product, but you need to be careful about how much product you use—I would suggest starting with a small amount and adding more as needed, otherwise you will get a little white cast, similar to mineral sunscreen. Make sure to rub it in well, too.Is it a miracle cream? No, and I am pretty sure the models in the listing photos already have amazing skin, but in my opinion this does seem to help my skin look better. I am glad that it has arbutin in it, as it’s an ingredient I try to keep in my skincare routine. The added moisture is nice as well.Great product, just have realistic expectations!

Pet peeve of mine as I try to avoid allergens and animal products.There was a noticeable whitecast, as well as a dry, pasty-feeling texture as soon as my skin absorbed it. Strangely the opposite of what I expected based on the product description. I thinking "brightening" might just mean "whitening," and then it makes more sense.I think it might work well as a primer on very fair skin, as I suppose it did leave an even surface (though not an even tone) - but there are better products out there for that purpose.It could be a coincidence, but I did have two small blemishes surface overnight the first time I used this. I don't necessarily think it made me "break out," and actually it can be helpful for a product to bring issues to the surface so they can be addressed, but I wasn't prepared with any special products to tackle them.

I cleanse, tone, and moisturize, then apply a very light layer of this as the final step of my morning skincare routine (directions say to apply this in the "direction of skin texture"). Once it dries, I can apply foundation or even just a little concealer and I'm good to go if I don't want to do anything fancy (it does also help eyeshadow stay put). Be sure to use a small amount to gently smooth out your skin; if you use too much, you'll add a white sheen, i.e. brighten your face too much. If I do this, I apply some foundation or light bronzer afterward to get back to my natural skin tone. The cream has a mild, flowery perfume-like scent that I enjoy; the scent fades as it dries. Since I only need to use a small amount and only in the morning (or before makeup), this should last quite a while. I would order this again.

This formula reminds me of a primer with SPF, but it does even out the tone of my skin nicely under my eyes, as that skin is much lighter and less dry. It doesn’t quite blend right on the darker areas of my face, and highlights my texture and flakey areas. I think with fully exfoliated & soft hydrated skin in excellent condition, this would have more potential.
