Good balance of performance and price
The media could not be loaded. After reading some 20+ reviews and trying to decipher between what I needed from a standing desk (lots of videos on YouTube explaining the benefits), here is why I settled on this one...Build quality: this desk is sturdy both sitting and standing, the 'extra' parts that attach to the underneath i.e. control panel, hooks and cable tray are of decent quality but the screws and the table top (very thin) are not quite up to the same standard - I used 3M double sided tape together with the screws - careful not to over tighten here. I also used sticky cable ties for cable management – OCD now under control :)Colour and desktop options: I chose black legs – saw some videos on YouTube with white legs which showed the grease on them after use. I also chose the black desktop (included in a ‘single’ piece – better overall) but very thin at 15 mm. Treat with care, I paired mine with a vegan leather desk mat which is comfortable and also hides a few tiny chips – marks easy. The desk is a fingerprint magnet, so I also have a small cloth for wiping down.Price: £229 after using a promo code for £100 off. This is the cheapest I could find with a memory function – standing desk without a memory function just isn’t going to cut it. You want to use single touch to move up and down quickly.Memory function: 4 settings, lowest at 73 cm, I have read reviews where for some customers this wasn’t low enough, I find it works for me at 5 foot 9 height. Highest setting is 121 cm which should be fine for most, I’m using 103 cm when standing. Also includes 2 USB ports for charging, the USB C port is ‘super-fast’ according to my Samsung phone when plugged in. Cable not included – use the one that came with the phone.Motor: most of these desks come with a single or dual motor and I have seen wording around double and triple strength (not sure what that means). This desk is a single motor and is perfectly fine, low level noise and fast enough. If you have and want to spend the money, go for more otherwise this works great.Packaging: well packed in a single very large box. Just about managed to carry it upstairs by myself but best for 2 people to be safe. The desktop and parts are carefully placed between lots of poly for protection.Assembly: part assembled so just need to attach legs and accessories – see note around build quality. Took about 20 minutes at a leisurely pace and was straight forward. Tools included in the box.Optional: could use small spacers to attach accessories underneath if you like – I didn’t this time round. I also have a rubber ‘fitness’ mat underneath the desk to stand on when desk is raised which is a must if you use it standing often. I ordered a small ‘pen drawer’ to attach underneath to hide my charging cable for my phone and the cloth to wipe down the tabletop.Would do differently if I had more time and money: get a thicker better quality top – perhaps made of wood – but keeping in mind the overall weight on the motors.

Fantastic Affordable Home Office Desk
As a permanent home worker I wanted to invest in a sit/stand desk having used one in the office for years. The Flexispot seemed to check all the boxes, in fact it's actually better than the more expensive one I had in the office as the EF1 has the programmable heights which is great, no more guessing exactly where I need it when standing or sitting. It was simple to put together, took about 15 minutes, it's really sturdy, and the rise and fall motion is both smooth and quiet. I did wonder at this price if it would it would sturdy but it is. I'm using mines with a single monitor arm with a 34 inch monitor connected to it and everything else on the table top.I bought this during a Prime promotion which gave me good savings, been using it now for several weeks and absolutely love it.One tiny thing for me - at several points in the description and attached images it says this can go from 71.3cm, it does not. The lowest setting is 73.0cm from the ground it's actually a couple of cm's too high for me with the keyboard on the desk, at first I thought this would be fine as I stand more than I sit but it's not so I have ordered the Flexispot Keyboard Tray which I'm waiting for. Note the images below the description state 73.0cm but this is misleading.Overall a superb product though, very happy with it and makes my working day much better.

very sturdy and smooth lifting
I was not sure at first, but after seeing prices for secret --- and other tables decided to order one.It was the best decision madeQuality is very good, sturdy, and a fraction of the price. Yes, the wire management system is not built in, but you can always stick a long extension under the desk.It was easy to put together, one person can do this themselves, but get a deliveryman to carry it inside, it's heavy.Apart from that, I'd give it 9/10A great desk for a great price and moves up and down great.

160cm comes in 5 pieces, sturdy, £190
Fairly easy to put together ( as someone who is not very DIY) and once up very sturdy. No issues holding two monitors and other stuff.I struggled to find reviews talking about the desk top. The 160cm comes in 5 pieces. These are bolted together underneath and to be honest once you have a desk mat on doesn't cause any issues and is fairly flush. I can't feel any dent through my mouse mat (which was a concern for gaming initially).Only dropped a star as my boyfriend got a higher end flexispot and it goes up and down quicker and to a higher level and also just generally feels more robust. This version is a great budget end and does everything is needs to smoothly, however would look into its possible height if you are over 6ft just to check if suitable as it seems his version goes higher than mine - although still fine for me at 5ft10.

Great product, worth the price
I've been looking for a good quality standing desk for some time now, and finally decided it was worth getting one.Upon receiving the FlexiSpot desk, it was packaged very well to ensure no damage was done to any of the desk components. Setup took a while as I was recording the entire process, but after assembling the desk, it felt very sturdy and secure. Instructions were also nice and clear.I've been using the desk daily for a couple of weeks now, and I'm extremely happy with it. I have 3 monitors standing on top of the desk and the desk seems to be holding them with ease, even when at its full standing position. You'd expect standing desks to be quite wobbly especially when fully extended, but this one is great. It only wobbles when you physically grab hold of the desk and shake it. A couple of features that stand out to me are the easy use of the product, sturdy design, memory preset buttons for ideal height, nice and quiet. No negatives from my perspective.Overall, great product for a really fair price! Would 100% recommend this to anyone who spends a lot of time at a desk.
