Good product
Light is really bright and the laser is pretty accurate to the front sights of my shotgun. Manufacturer told me it would not fit the 18.5 inch mossberg 500 barrel but I received it today and it fit perfect. The light is great, the laser is a little unneeded for a shotgun but it looks great and fit perfect

Adaptable!
Bought this for my old 12ga Mossberg 500 ATP. It took some time for me to figure out how the best setup with this mod would be for me. I moved the flashlight to below the laser and the quick disconnect to the top of the laser for a good feel holding the shotgun with the sling diagonally around my torso. The adjustable beam of the flashlight is nice. Everything fits together perfectly, is of excellent quality, and doesn't interfere with the pump action or my heat shield. I prefer it over other similar mods and highly recommend it for your 500. I can't speak for the 88 crowd.

Inaccurate description
Says it first Maverick 88 12ga shotgun. Not even close. The brackets are cheap and the threads for the screws weren't tapped all the way through. The customer service and return process was a nightmare as well. They don't cover the return shipping costs and good luck trying to get a hold of anyone. Stay away from this product and this company.

Fits snug
Installation was easy, seems to be quit sturdy and snug, soon as I put a few rounds through it I'll post update

Made in CHINA - be forewarned
This is a novelty item. It does work, but it's definitely nowhere near close to military grade standards. You get what you pay for in this case. Here's a few things to be aware of: the socket head allen screws for the tandem mount were too small and slipped right through the mount - USELESS. Had to go to Lowe's to buy the correct sized screws. The laser is very fussy in terms of calibrating it to the shotgun sights. Best case, just try to get it set up for about 30 - 50 feet and that's the best you'll get. Anything closer doesn't really matter unless you intend on shooting slugs. Anything farther, you need a rifle not a shotgun. The flashlight is okay, it works. But it can not be perfectly centered with the shotgun sights. It really doesn't have to be, though. If you adjust the flashlight beam to your needs you'll be fine. I set mine up for a beam somewhere between wide and narrow. It does have three different modes, steady, pulse and flashing. The unit also came with a single three screw piccatiny mount that I did not need for my application. Last item of concern is the included accordion cable switch for turning the laser on and off at the receiver of the shotgun. I mounted the switch slightly forward and under the ejection port on the receiver. I tried it and it's more of a nuisance than useful. If you're right handed make sure you mount the laser on the right side of the shotgun magazine tube. (Your left hand will be on the forend which makes it very difficult to operate the remote cable on/off switch and the "slide action" of the shotgun.) The remote switch does not come with any adhesive backing to stick it to the shotgun. I used double sided Velcro and that seemed to work okay, but as I said, the remote cable was stretched tight and it was more of a hinderance for the safe and smooth operation of the shotgun. I mounted this accessory to a Mossberg Maverick 88 and have the laser zeroed with the shotgun sight at roughly 30 to 50 feet. If I find that the vibrations of the shotgun loosen the mounting screws I will add a little dab of 'removeable' Loctite glue to the socket head allen screws and retighten them. Finally, do not expect to find a detailed Owner's Manual or instructions.

Perfect Fit
This item was a perfect fit for my Mossberg Maverick 88 12 gauge shotgun. The instructions that came with the package are very vague but I google it and it worked perfectly.

Not the greatest.
It seems like the laser is decent quality, the flash light is mediocre. The biggest issue I have with this is the magazine tube mount. It is very flimsy and doesn’t tighten up completely. Trying to tighten it up actually stripped the hardware. This honestly was a waste of $85. Looking back I would think more like $50 for this and that’s just because the laser itself. Really, shop around and don’t jump like I did. I’d return it if i could.
