Leaves my hair so soft and healthy looking.
This Sunny Isle Lavender Mint Intensive Hair Mask is great! This left my hair so soft.I used this the first time in the evening before bed, thinking it might be a bit heavy and weigh down my very fine textured, frizzy, wavy mid length hair. That way if it did, I could shampoo again in the morning to take out the heaviness. I was wrong. In fact after sitting with this on my hair for about 15 minutes in a hot steamy tub, I stood up to shower it out and it rinsed well, but even wet my hair felt smooth as glass.I didn’t style my hair or use a bunch of leave in products like I normally do. I just used a gentle wide comb and then my hair was left to air dry and I was amazed that it looked better than when I normally put 15 minutes into trying to tame it. My waves looked soft and bouncy, no frizz, no weighed down flatness. It also smells so good. It has a nice minty smell and it feels very cooling on my head. The consistency it very rich and thick. I use a clean teaspoon to take a small nickel size of product out. The spoon helps to keep wet hands from messing up the rest of the product in the tub.I’m using this every 3 or 4 days since I don’t condition daily. The tub is large (16oz.), so I hope it last a couple months. This is a two thumbs up product. It’s also made here in the U.S.

15 Minute Hair Mask
This is a deep conditioning hair mask. After washing your hair, you are supposed to apply this, comb it through, put on a plastic cap, then let it do its thing for 15 minutes or so. The directions say you can optionally also use a blow drier on your coated hair for 10 minutes for extra absorptionI did not have a plastic cap, so I used a plastic bag on my head after applying, and went ahead and did a face mask at the same time that also had to stay on my face for a similar period of time. After 15 minutes, I took a second shower to wash both products off, then let my hair air dry. This mask weighted down my hair, so it almost looked like I had straightened it after use. My hair looked sleek and shiny, but my ends were frizzier than usual. I did let my hair air dry on an 80 degree day with some humidity, so that may be part of the reason for the frizz. But I feel like it did a much better job in conditioning my scalp and roots than it did my ends. This product is nice and thick. It does have a strong scent, but it is a pleasant one that dissipates after application It is easy to apply and distributes well with a comb. .I like how my hair felt after using this, and there were no tangles to worry about after rinsing it out. I do think it is a good product, but I am not sure it is that superior to conditioners that only have to sit for a few minutes and do not require a plastic cap. It was priced at $15 at the time of this review, and since I only used a little bit of product, I'd say there is enough for at least a dozen more applications, making this product priced well. I think it is a good monthly type use product for those without severely damaged hair. My hair is in good condition and I don't color it. I only wash it 1-2 times a week. If you have colored hair, severely damaged hair, or are a more frequent washer, perhaps a bimonthly application schedule would be more appropriate. For me, my hair almost felt over-conditioned after use, so that tells me it does what it claims. It definitely was soft and needed no other product in conjunction, save a little argan oil to calm the frizz it left at my ends. I definitely think this is a good treatment for sporadic use on stressed or over-treated hair, and an occasional booster for those with less damaged hair.

Love the scent
I finally got to use this today. I have been on bed rest after a medical procedure and my hair has been so dried out. I don't get to shower as much as I would like and with curly hair it dries way too quick. I went ahead and put this in today. I let it just kind of sit for about 10 minutes. I love the smell which is odd because I usually don't like lavender. But this one I really did like. And now that I've rinsed it out it has really made my hair feel nice and soft.

Softens my stringy greys
I have very fine thin hair but my gray hair seems very stringy more like a very thin wire that's very difficult to manage. I also have very hard water which doesn't help my hair.I've used this product a couple of times and it really helps my hair feel more relaxed and soft. I found that it's really helped calm down my stringy hair.

Good Conditioning. Has Dimethicone.
I have long, fine hair that is slightly damaged from coloring and heat styling. For years, I’ve been using 2 drops of straight dimethicone to smooth over my hair after curling it. The dimethicone smooths my hair and locks in the curl. The issue is that a little is fantastic but too much leaves my fine hair looking greasy.Because this deep conditioning repair masque contains a lot of dimethicone (it’s the fourth listed ingredient), I do not use dimethicone straight with it because it becomes too much. I really like this masque because it leaves my hair feeling silky and smooth, but I know I’ll need to use a clarifying shampoo if I use it too often to remove buildup.I love the light lavender mint scent. It’s not overpowering at all. The texture has a lot of slip to it. A little goes a long way, so this tub will last me a long time.
