Good real for value
This real is a beast for its value, will pull most fish in from fresh water, smooth, nice drag, good quality though it could be improved in some areas but for the price? You can't complain, it's super easy to use.One thing I do recommend; the line that comes with it, switch it out instantly. It's trash and you will spend more time cutting it up. Make sure your line is nice and snug, this reel loves to toss the line off the reel.Overall great entry to mid tier reel

Great real and good value
My original reel is a Mitchell and 30+ years old so when I started fishing again and wanted a second reel I thought why not get another one. Pleased I did. Quality is good and it’s a pleasure to use. Bait runner feature is new to me and I really like it.Supplied line isn’t great though and I wish they just sold it bare ready for your line of choice.Just ordered another one so I have two matching rods & reels for ledgering and will use my trusty old carp rod and reel for surface work.

Really unreal Reel, line performance
Mitchell have been making reels forever, one of my first serious reels was a 1970's Mitchell Match with "Dab" touch bale arm. Latterely, my reels of choice have been Daiwa and especially Crossfire range. However, I have been putting together a grab and go kit for those odd moments when time is short and therfore lead to limited time sessions. I have taken it out for the first time and it is a bit of a beast, probably more reel than I needed but it was priced well and came already loaded, what's not to like. Well the "Ready Loaded " is something definitely not to like. It is heavy , thick black line. It is not nice, not friendly and certainly not usable. This line is so thick that it has it's own memory and continually "coils" thus making it almost impossible to keep "Tight Lines". I have unwound and rewound it but it persists in "looping" and this leads to the line dropping off the spool. So it has not really allowed me to fully evaluate the reels performance. SO it will be a strip off of that line , reline with some good quality , probably Daiwa Sensor Mono and then take it out for a test session. The 3 stars will be reviewed at that point
