Really pretty
I bought this as a Christmas gift for my boyfriend. It looks very nice and is in good condition. We haven't tried it yet, but the discs seem to be in perfect condition. The only things are some spots on the cover that can be seen in the second photo, and in the last photo, there is a small damage on the cover as well. Otherwise, so far, everything is very good. I hope my boyfriend likes it. When we try it, I'll come back with another review about the musical quality.

This album is worth obsessing over. 6/5 stars.
This album is stunning. Childish Gambino is a true lyrical and musical genius. Rather than the "smoke weed, f**k b****es" stories that most rappers talk about these days, which he mocks/mimics in his song Sweatpants, Gambino tells true stories of love and life through deep and insightful lyrics. The musical style is something never seen before. It is a combination of noise tracks (anywhere from moaning to dental drills) and unheard of beats and tunes. The combination of these things create an amazing album that insets a certain indescribable emotion. The album ends with a desperate, but not shouting, voice pleading "please help me", which sends shivers down your spine. The song Flight of the Navigator provides an interesting perspective of life, with tunes that go along with the lyrics and just add more and more layers to the already deep meaning of the song. Sweatpants mocks rappers who brag about things they don't have. Shadows provides a perspective on falling in true love with someone. All of this and more is waiting for you inside Childish Gambino's musical masterpiece, "Because the Internet". If you buy this album, especially the vinyl LP, please don't blast it at a party. The is not that kind of rap. When you get this album, just hit play or drop the needle, relax, and listen to it all and analyze it.

but ultimately what I like in music are mood shifts and the meticulously crafted ...
I'll start off by saying: I'm more of a metal fan than a rap fan, but ultimately what I like in music are mood shifts and the meticulously crafted alternate reality that it creates. For that reason I like the progressive metal genre and, while I would hesitate to call this "progressive rap", Gambino takes a lot of sonic 'risks' that are very common in that field of sound. He manages to avoid a lot of the cliches that have turned me away from rap/hip hop in the past and instead delivers a fun, "anything can happen" experience that drew me in from beginning to end.Whatever you may feel about the lyrical story being told, the music is handled masterfully. Hip hop is notoriously bad when it comes to mixing more 'laid back' moments as they often come off as mere distractions from the hardcore music surrounding it. Because The Internet captures every mood better than I could have imagined and is worth a listen just for the dramatic shifts. It doesn't hurt that I came to enjoy Gambino's rapping style pretty much instantly and decided this would be the first hip hop album I would ever buy.

Honestly? GOAT
Definitely my favorite Childish Gambino album (his later stuff is solid, and Camp is also excellent though). It just goes so hard and I love to jam out to it in my car. Telegraph Ave. [Oakland by Lloyd] is one of my all-time favorite songs, and Sweatpants is a real banger.

A comedian that can sing and rapp!!
I love Donald Glover style when it come tohis vocal an rapping abilities, his sound isdifferent an fun. I very much enjoy his music.I love the song Sober, when I first heard itI knew he had a lot to offer in the music worldI wish they would put Sober an his other songson a CD format. I do not want to go back to vinyle. You really have to know how to take care ofyour albums, cause if they get scratched up, it'sover. Well it can happen to a CD also, but a CDsounds a thousand times better, an they last aa life time. I just got this CD, a couple days ago,an I want everyone to know that Childish Gambino has got it going on.

Solid Album
I love Gambino's approach to this album and the whole story behind it /or/ supporting it. He has on his website (I believe) a script and small movies to go along this album. He is experimenting a bit more, you can tell through listening the album. His lines are still up to par or even better compared to his last album. More so with his last mixtape ROYALTY.This album is definitely more of a chill and relaxed type mood than his mixtape. With a couple of up beat beats here and there. If you are a Childish Gambino fan this is definitely a must have to your collection. And if you are just getting into him, also buy his first album and his mixtape ROYALTY.

Top 5 hip hop/rap album of 2013.
Great album from Gambino. The first time i heard the album i was super disappointed because it sounded chaotic and random. After buying Camp and listening to Royalty i expected more rap in this album but its still very good. The album to me is an experience and a sort of trip through Gambinos mind. The only other album i can compare it to is Kendrick Lamars Good Kid Mad City, only in that they both are meant to be played from beginning to end and tell a story.Kendrick's story was of a good kid growing in harlem but Gambinos story is more introspective and sort of depressing. Its almost like Gambino had a epiphany in this album about love, friends, and loneliness.Overall an awesome album that is non-traditional and is good for rap/hip hop.I only wish more people knew of gambino because this is a great album.
