Works to absorb juices
Finally solved the problem of excess juices from meats, etc while using my food saver vacuum. Often cut them in half and fold over to put in the vacuum bag. Highly recommended.

They do the trick !
I bought these to use as liquid blockers for vacuum sealing moist food items. I fold them over the vacuum end of the food item. They work very well for that as long as the food is not sopping wet and is completely covered on the open end.

Perfect for use when sealing meat in freezer bags
I purchased these to use when freezing meat using my Food Saver system and bags. As I had hoped, the pads trapped the meat juices so they did not escape during the vacuum/seal process, and made the seal more successful and a lot less messy. The pads are perfect for this use. I will definitely purchase these again when I use up this first shipment.

use them for cooking bacon in microwave soaks up grease really well. Would caution to put a paper towel on top of the pad

Inaccurate description and very thin
Description reads “4x7” however, the absorbent pad only measures 3 7/8 x 5 3/8. The total size of packaging and pad is only 4 7/8 x 6 3/8 therefore not going to fit correctly into the vacuum bags I had intended on using them in. Also seem very thin for being the better of the 2 pads they sell and no markings on the pad or even paperwork in the box to indicate if I actually got the more expensive pads I ordered or not. Not impressed at this point and will look elsewhere for future orders.
