Is this food recommended for fancy tail goldfish or is it only for lionheads?

I also would recommend this for non lionheads. The floating types i have found gave my fish Swimbladder disease symptoms due to them sucking in too much air. This is probably their best product for ANY goldfish. I have had Oranda's, lionheads, Ryukin fish and have fed them exclusively this product and green peas. I currently have over 15 blackmoor who are currently being fed ONLY this product and nothing else and the growth is amazing. I highly recommend nothing but this product for goldies.

Hi can you tell me how old this food is? Does it have an expiration date?

I recently bought a package and it has a expiration of 5/2020.

Are they Sinking or floating pellets?

The Lionhead pellets by Hikari are sinking pellets to help the fish avoid gulping air while they eat.

Is there any vegetable matter in the ingredients? My black moor seems to be having a swim bladder problem and needs food w/ vegies

Try to feed green peas and yes this food have vegetables matter still I always soak this food for few minutes before feeding my fishes and it always sink so there is no swim bladder issue ☺
