I installed this truss rod in a new acoutic guitar that I built. This was the perfect size. i have already adjusted this to get the proper neck relief and it worked well.

Requires special $50 installation tool
I'm sure this LOW PROFILE truss rod works fine, but a special $50 tool is needed for installation. Amazon should note this required tool in the description. I ordered the non low profile one and will send this one back. A shipping charge is required to send it back, since it comes directly from StewMac. So the refund isn't completely free although it is easy.
