The book engages the reader with amazing facts and the beautiful illustrations add great depth to the child's learning. A great book for 6-10 year olds who are interested in history.

I bought this for my son's homework, which was pretending to be a Viking estate agent and trying to sell a Viking property. This book was super informative, revealing that Viking homes were much bigger and nicer than most houses today, and probably had fewer issues with damp proofing and dodgy roofers. It also covers many other aspects of Viking lives in a very accessible and fun way.

Grandson enjoy it

This was an ideal book to support school work on the Vikings as it covered the whole range of topics and not just the raiding and pillaging. Nice illustrations and clear text made for easy use.

I bought this for my grandson aged 6 who was studying the vikings for a school project. He loved it. Well illustrated and easily read - with some help in places.
