This is a great option for bookends because it is expandable to fit the number and sizes of books you have on your shelf! Sturdy and really stays in place. Looks nice, too. Highly recommend!

This works really great! I used it for my grandaughter's (3 yr old) books on my glass bookstand in the living room. It helps to keep everything together, and I don't have to worry about her knocking over one of the ends or having a bookend tip over. It's adjustable, so I can really max it out or decrease it as I please without issue.

I was looking for an expanding holder of books to sit on my chair side table. This really does the job beautifully.I can go from having 3-15 books beside me. (I end up with a lot of books after a good day of browsing at the library.) This expanding bookend adjusts easily. It reduces the amount of real estate that the books take up on my side table. With the books set upright and spine out, at a glance, I can readily read every title, see all the choices, and choose what I want to read at that moment. I liked that it was available in brown, matching the side table and being so obtrusive.As the headline says it's transformed my inaccessible pile of books to have them each visible and enticing.

I have a made bookshelf (built by my dad who is taller than me) above my desk, but as a short person, it is a pain getting the books I want to read. So I tend to get a small collection of books I want to read for the year on my desk, but I tried those agate bookmarks and those didn't keep the books in place.I was hesitant in purchasing this bookcase, not because of bad reviews, I was concerned to how much it weighed since it is metal. It is very light weight, sturdy, and keeps all the books in order. The books do not fall out of place and I did not believe it was going to expand as much as I thought. I was wrong, it stretches well enough I can put some heavy sized books there and still have room for more. I will definitely buy more once I move into the university.

Fit perfectly on my small freezer, use it to hold my cookbooks. Really like the expansion feature, let's me take out a book or two, push it together to continue holding the others, the easily reinsert.

This is really flimsy for a book holder, and yet at the same time hard to maneuve the parts you want to move in order to properly place it. Had I been able to see it in store or on display I probably would'nt have bought it but it works well enough for now.

This item works well - it can handle a pile of books. I had a mess by my chair in our living room. Used this to tidy it up. Very happy with the looks and the function of it.
