Great for long hair and seem strong. The only thing I can think of is that they are too big.These are great if you have moderately thick hair and it’s long. If you have mid length and you’re looking for a good amount of bounce definitely go with the 1 1/2 or 2” size but otherwise these are great!

Too bug fall off , but I still use them

I air-dry my fine highlighted mid-back length hair on two sets of these and it comes out straight, smoothe, and bouncy at the ends as if I had used a dryer or went to a salon! It lasts until my next shampoo. My hair is straight at the roots and, after my teens, it has developed some varying waves in the middle length which I don't like. I also ordered metal clips to hold the curlers in place (either common sense or cynicism told me they weren't going to magically stay up by themselves). In those rare moments when I do use a hair dryer, I alternate between warm and cool air (never hot), holding the dryer no closer than 6 inches from my hair, then put the rollers in afterwards mostly from mid-shaft to ends until it dries the rest of the way. It also works when placing the curlers in first then warm/cool drying it, although I prefer the former two methods because I can multi-task while it dries instead of blow drying the entire time. I use either a leave-in conditioner (Redken Anti-Snap or Aveda Damage Remedy Daily Hair Repair) or no product at all. My very dry hair usually takes a long time to dry but it does so relatively fast with these on. I wash only 1-2 times per week so I normally do it on an early weekday morning or on the week ends when I'm not in a rush to go out. If I am on a tight schedule, then I'll add the safer blow drying technique. These large curlers are great for when you don't want a curling effect other than a curve at the ends, if you are restoring the health of your hair by avoiding/minimising hot tools, and saving money from not going to a salon for the same effect. Great service by this company, too. Keep in mind that results will vary depending on your hair structure, condition, and method of use.

This product didn’t work well for me. I ordered them because my new hairdresser used them to style my hair. I think these rollers were a little bigger in size than I needed. I couldn’t get them to stay in place even with clips and wet hair.
