Perfect for any age group
The media could not be loaded. My 11 year old wanted to start learning how to play the keyboard (eventually wants to learn the piano). This is absolutely perfect. It's a good sized keyboard for him, and it's great that it comes with stickers to label each key. Within two days of learning, probably only spending a few hours each day, he was able to play songs. It's now been 2 weeks since he has been playing, he can use two hands to play, he can play lots of songs, and can read the music. This has been worth every penny! In all fairness, it was a steal. The video is of my son playing the same day he recieved the keyboard. He has never played before, and has not played any other instruments, for your attention. It has been fun to watch him and for the family to join in.We have downloaded the free app, however have not used that as you must put in your card details to sign up to the free app. The post states 3 months but it only gave us 10 days so we didn't bother. YouTube has some great videos, and we have bought a really good book from Amaon aswell.Would recommend 100%.Also you can change the volume which every parent will appreciate, and you can add headphones so the rest of the house doesn't need to listen to it :) You can also change the sound of the keys, which is another bonus.

Great value. Impressive kit
This is a large keyboard and good size keys. Great to practice the piano at home. It is unbelievable value for the price. Good presets and features too

Good for youngsters
Bought this piano for the other half as she was interested in trying to learn. The piano has done it's job, she's now enthusiastically playing away every day, but she was disappointed with the quality after only the first day and so was I.First off, the good. It's loud! Plenty of volume for the home user and quiet enough too for night playing, if you don't want to plug in some headphones. The keys also have a really nice feel to them, with a good amount of resistance and a soft end-of-travel which feels more akin to a real piano than plastic keys. The range of voices are good too, plenty to choose from, though I couldn't find an organ sound which makes playing some certain 60's songs a little harder. Given organ is quite commonly found on keyboards as well I was surprised not to find it. The piano voice itself isn't going to blow your socks off. It's not bad, I've heard worse, but you know you're playing a keyboard. The buttons on the keyboard all have a nice feel to them as well, and the screen is sharp and responsive. The readout of the screen along with the provided key stickers make this great for learning how to play a piano. However, where it falls short is 3 main points.First of all, the tone length is quite awkward. It's ok for most playing, but anything which requires a little sustain isn't possible as the notes finish too quickly. There is a sustain option on the keyboard but this throws things to the other end of the spectrum, where unless you were playing a really slow soppy tune it's just too long. If an option to adjust the length of the sustain was possible, or possibly a chorus/reverb option was available instead, that would make this piano substantially more playable.Another issue I have is there's a fairly loud click that occurs. If you imagine the click typically heard at the end of a RAW recording, on your phone or something, this is the kind of click I refer to. This click occurs both at the start and end of each note played as well as, for some reason, at regular ~2 second intervals whether playing or not. It becomes very evident when you're sitting looking up sheet music or something, not playing the keyboard, and there's just this click every 2 seconds. Very distracting. I haven't fully tested, but the click volume also appears unaffected by the master volume. Changing any of the tempo options also does not change the frequency of the click. My final bad point is the keyboard has a tendency to... glitch is the only way I can explain it. At random times, random keys will start producing a harsh buzzing sound when played. The buzzing sound gradually increases in volume, and gradually extends to more keys until the keyboard is powered off and on again. I can imagine if this happened in the middle of a 20 minute piece it would be very frustrating. This glitch doesn't occur all the time, but when my other half has been playing all day she experiences it a good few times in that day.Overall, this piano is cheap and marketed at beginners, and for that purpose it just about manages. If you're a proficient player, this piano is definitely not for you. Likewise, if you're very picky with your audio, this piano will likely frustrate you so maybe look elsewhere. This piano is definitely for novices who want to learn and I have rated it as such. It's unfortunate that the 3 issues noted above lose it 1 star even from this simple purpose.

Excellent value for money
This review is for the:RockjamRockJam RJ361 61 Key Keyboard Piano with Sheet Music Stand Piano Note Sticker Power Supply and Simply Piano Application. My wonderful daughter gave me an Amazon gift card 😍 for fathers day. Knowing I'm extremely difficult to buy for. I decided that having a great deal of time on my hands with Lockdown, I would try and teach myself a new skill. Having had a little experience at School with music lessons, I know I have quite a good ear for music. However, little did I know that my Father's day present 🎁 would be pulled from my very hands by "she who must be obeyed ".After the initial excitement of getting it, and getting me to play some simple tunes I remembered from school, I came down one morning to find her sat in front of the keyboard, headphones 🎧 on, and self teaching herself how to play. Initially just following some guidance on YouTube, she was soon playing some easily identifiable tunes. Bank onto Amazon I purchased a number of various piano 🎹 books for beginners. Also some key stickers to make it easier for her to follow the lessons.Currently, if you purchase the keyboard on Amazon you get 3 months subscription to Skoove (remember to click to add this (free) to your order.I can honestly say, it has been a sheer pleasure to watch the smile 😃 on her face when she masters another tune. She is currently mastering "bohemian rhapsody".I personally believe by Christmas 🎄 she will be playing 🎶 like a natural.Despite this being meant as a Fathers Day gift, seeing the pleasure she gets, is actually a gift in itself. The keyboard is the 61 key version, has a nice LCD display with numerous features like various other instruments and melodies she can select. I am now continually called into the conservatory and asked if I can recognise the tune she is playing. An absolute ideal gift for anyone from a child to adult, giving hours of enjoyment. The Rockjam keyboard seems to get the very best reviews, apart from the keyboards that you would need to spend hundreds of pounds to get. At £49.99 this is an excellent keyboard. Especially if you want to see if you enjoy it before purchasing a much more expensive one.In my opinion it has everything a beginner needs in a keyboard to learn and practice. It would be ideal for, say a child who is taking music lessons at school and needs to practice at home. It has a 3.5 headphones 🎧 jack allowing you to practice without annoying anyone else.In summary an Excellent Father's Day gift 🎁.I hope you found this review useful 👍
