Perfect dog's paw traction.
I was looking for rubber sand to give my dog more traction. There is another product for that but it's super expensive and this works just as good. My golden retriever needed a little help getting up on a tile floor and this was perfect for his pads.

Saved my boat deck project!
Sprayed Raptor on my boat deck boards after removing carpet and sanding. Raptor was MUCH more slick than I thought it would be, and this stuff mixed in the last bottle, and some of it lightly sprinkled on top of the last wet layer really added the grip you need on a boat deck where you're walking on wet and possibly cold all the time.I bought the "medium" grade, and it was about right. I don't think I'd want any bigger or smaller.

Great Product - Way overpriced!!!
Used 2 -16oz containers to cover my 18 foot center console (floors and decks only) The results were great; We used the product in gelcoat on the floor and topside paint on the decks. Honestly the results were better in the paint than the gelcoat. My only complaint is that this product is way OVERPRICED!!! This is a simple rubberized particle, probably made from a by-product. $50 per 16oz is robbery. If I had to do this project again, I would look into other options.

Pricey but makes a very aggressive non-skid
Its not cheap. You have to pour a ton onto wet gelcoat then let all of it sit until the gelcoat is hard. Patting it, sweeping it or messing with it at all before the gelcoat is 100% hard makes a worse surface. After the gelcoat hardens, you sweep up the rest and save it because you can re-use what isn't glued-in. Then roll a very thin layer of gelcoat over the top. The result is coarser than 40 grit sandpaper and extremely grippy. I am frequently alone on the boat, so falling overboard is a big deal. I wouldn't use anything but this for my nonskid deck.

The best non skid to use
I used the "broadcast" method and it worked beautifully.

AMAZING for stairs
This stuff saved my sanity. I just bought a townhouse from, let’s say, a very ~eclectic~ seller. He had painted the stairs with a bright red high-gloss paint, and they were a) a death trap waiting to happen, and b) way too slippery for my dog. She became a nervous wreck and made my life very hard for a couple of weeks with her nonstop panic. Enter google, and I found this lifesaver. I used the sprinkle method - primer, paint, sprinkle while still wet (kind of like glitter), let dry and sweep off excess, paint, paint. It worked like a charm! The stairs are now super nonslip and I’m not cleaning up nervous dog doo three times a day. I used a full bag on the full set of stairs and went very heavy-handed, and it was exactly enough. 10/10, could not have worked any better.

Should have bought 2-bags
Didn’t go very far. I wish I’d mixed it into the paint rather than scattering it on top. Too expensive for what you get. It’s sold by volume not weight. That’s where the confusion comes in. 16 oz in volume is less than 16 oz of weight.

Better than griptex
This is softer and more gripping than Awlgrip griptex. It also absorbs more paint... but I prefer it. Broadcasting gives you a very nice even professional surface
