Durable!
I've had one for several years and absolutely love it. It takes a little learning curve to set the thermostat just right but all in all, I don't know how I got along without this! Jerky comes out perfect at about 170 degrees. The smoke tray and multiple racks are easy to use! I've used it 50 times at least and it still works perfectly.

Analog temperature control is steady and accurate.
After ready reviews about the digital temperature gauge I was a bit hesitant to buy it. I have been watching for a sale for months and had hoped it would be on prime day but instead the price went up. So I looked at the analog. It plugs in like an electric fry pan and it is great! While it doesn'tSay the temperature, just look at the gauge on the door to adjust the temperature. The grate that holds the water and wood chips is a bit clunky but I'm using a pan on bottom rack to hold the drippings so no problem. So far I've made bacon wraped Dijon mustard chicken breast and county style pork ribs. Very yummy and going to smoke a brisket later in the week. So far I LOVE IT and it was cheaper than the digital! Legs are easy to put on and comes WITH the smoker unlike the digital that you have to purchase separately.

Great way to get into smoking for not a lot of $$$
I recently hit middle age and while I didn't suddenly discover WW 2, I DID get into smoking meat. I looked around and decided on this electric smoker from Masterbuilt. It is a good size, I can put a 10lb brisket in here easily, or plenty of sausage links or ribs or pork chops..whatever you can think of, I like the electric heat control as it allows you to fine tune your temp when you have meat on it...I have had to replace the thermostat on the front door as it filled with condensation, but the second one has as well. Apparently this is thing...I added a seal around the door and it hold smoke great. If you are hitting middle age and the idea of smoking meat is creeping into the back of your mind, give this one a go...I don't think you'll regret the purchase.

So Close… Lacking in a few areas. 4.2 ⭐️’s
The media could not be loaded. So close to being perfect. The Pre heat is fantastic and quick. Lots of rack space. Holds temp very nicely. The bad.. Loses a lot of smoke and the temperature gauge is useless right out of the box. Still a good value imo

It does what I bought it for
This works great for smoking meat. I hunt and like making different smoked meats . I will have to make a rod to hang sausages from though. None I have seen have that

Great smoker for a beginner!
I decided I wanted to purchase a smoker and try one out. I've never used one before so I did my research and decided to try this one. I am very pleased with my purchase. It arrived quickly. My husband assembled it with ease. We preseasoned it like the instructions stated before using. Once that was done, we used it for the first time with great results. We made smoked hot wings. My husband and father in law are originally from Buffalo, the birthplace of wings. They raved over my smoked hot wings. (Note: you just have to crisp them up on the grill or broiler when finished for that crispy finish). Not too bad for my first attempt. I would highly recommend this for a beginner smoker. The only thing I have to master is the analog heat control. That seems to be the tricky part. I can see why people like the digital smokers for that reason. However, for the price of this smoker and for someone trying their hand at smoking for the first time, this may be the smoker for you. It doesn't come with a cover so I ordered one from Amazon so I can protect it on my patio from the elements.

Good stuff will definitely recommend
Really happy with our purchase. First thing I smoked was some ribs the family love them. Has three racks was able to fit four racks of ribs. Can’t wait to keep smoking some more meats.
