Great investment! Great for bass fishing!
I needed to find a portable rod for bass fishing since I like hopping spots where there’s plenty of trees and low passageways. This was the rod for it! I have it paired with my abu garcia Black max and I absolutely love how it casts weightless lures or really light tackle. I’ve hauled bass of several sizes with no problem. The flex of the rod is great (MH) and it was an affordable option. My set up was economical, reliable and strong. Glad I found this rod and bought it home. Thanks BerryPro!!!

Nice for the money
I love berrypro rods. This is my first time getting somthing from them that's not a surf rod. There surf rods are amazing. The eyes was off about 30 35 degrees. So they sent out a free replacment! There customer service is amazing. I will definitely do more business with them in the future. These are very nice rods for the money. THEY have great backbone aswell. I feel as if the raiting for the line is for braid not mono. But it will throw the lure rating good.

The rod is lite and nice to handle, but the medium tip came with a broken guide, the one on top.UpdateI have been contacted by the seller, they are going to help me solving the problem. Arrived in good condition
The fishing rod arrived earlier than expected and in good condition. No damage to the handle and the two rod tips. The cork handle was wrapped in plastic and the rod and the tips arrived inside the rod sock. The fishing rod looks and seems like it's a good quality rod for it's price point. Not yet fished with it and I will update when I finally use it.

Defective tips that break in two places
The medium tip broke in two places on my first cast of a 3/4oz lure. Obviously defective, but it also happened to my fishing partner who bought the same rod right here on Amazon. Hopefully they fix this issue, and if you want to take the chance with this rod, the return was very easy.The lower half of the rod is very nice feeling, and overall comfortable, ergonomic, and light weight. Great for turning small stripers and bluefish into a good fight. If you’re looking for bigger fish, get a bigger rod. I have an 11’ Berrypro Surf Spinning rod that hasn’t let me down yet!

One eye ring missing out the box
Nice looking rod. I ordered two of them. One eye ring is missing in the medium heavy rod top part. I have not used them yet.

Best rods I've found for under $50
These are probably my favorite rods I've found for under $50. I usually use spinning reals and they work perfectly. They have a bit more weight behind them, which I like because I feel like it gives me more control. Also very sensitive, when used with braid you really feel almost everything.

Great versatile rod for the money
Used this rod with the medium heavy tip on a bottom fishing trip for porgies and seabass in August. The rod worked pretty well with a Kasting Sharky 3000. Porgies are not huge but put up a nice little fight so the light action and sensitivity of the rod was nice and made it fun. It had enough strength and comfort to feel like it could handle bigger fish too. For the price i feel like you get a great deal. The two tod tips give you versatility too. Overall finish snd split handle nice.
