Always dependable
Long time H-vision user. Their hardware is dependable and top notch compared to other brands. I do wish their Cams/NVRs were easier to update firmware.

You're on your own when you save a buck.
These are a great value for the money. This particular unit has a lot of little "smart" features that you just won't get with a lot of the normal cameras. That means instead of the motion alert being set off by every leaf blowing past or bird looking for bugs to eat, you can set up a Line Crossing event that is only triggered by a person or vehicle or other sufficiently large object. And that event can be trigged when that object is going in only one direction, so it's not being triggered every time you walk out your door.I have these alerts going to a Home Assistant installation. Home Assistant turns on lights and plays sounds when someone walks up the driveway. This isn't something the camera does by itself. What all this means is you really have to be ready, able and willing to experiment with the settings in this camera. There aren't really any good instructions for half of the options. You have to accept that these are meant first for "professional installers", and even though you might not be one now, you will be by the time you get through making this work.TIP: Install on the corners of your building or house if possible to realize the most potential from the PTZ feature. Installing this in the middle of a wall was a wasted opportunity.

Works well, just be patient.
The camera works well, just a little slow.

Good camera but may not be version for your country
This is a good camera, performs well. I have used them before. Most recent purchase would not accept firmware from Hikvision USA (where I am) and required firmware from Hikvision EU. Makes me think this is a graymarket sale.

Great value PTZ camera
Other ptz cameras not even close to this cost. Not the best at night but does great other then that.

Disappointing
In two words to describe this camera: under powered. When motion is detected there is lag to updating the display, which you may notice by the clock pausing then quickly catch up - seconds to minutes of lag. Also, items that move (e.g., people) can get stuck in the image. The camera behaves as if the CPU is single core and slow. Otherwise, the camera's picture quality is good.

Cannot upgrade firmware as claimed
The camera itself works well with Blue Iris software. Cannot get a live image on any current browser and was hoping to upgrade firmware to get that to work like my other Hikvision vamera (same model just newer firmware).Every attempt to install new firmware fails, whetrher the firmware is downloaded from USA or EU Hikvision website. Contacted the seller of the camera a couple of times with no response. So, now I am stuck with the camera that can only be viewed through a third party application (Blue Iris). While it is still usable for my situation, it is very annoying to not have the convenience of all the camera's features via its web interface. The seller should not make claims that the firmware is upgradable, when it is not! This seller should respond to inqueries about firmware upgrades.Buyer Beware.

Plan on re-mounting at least once during installation
Description says 0-330 pan, but really only pans 270 according to the feedback in the app.Mounting bracket says “FRONT” but I don’t know the what it’s the “front” of. I would expect it to be the halfway point in the pan (135 or 157 depending who you believe) but the app says about 90 when the lens is in the “front” position. Now I have to take the bracket down & drill new holes to reorient.
