Excellent addition to tank!
I have a small tank for my betta and it only had 2 small lights in the hood. Well, I have plants in the tank and they were struggling. This light made a tremendous difference. I played with it mounting it in different positions both in the water and in the hood and in each placement, it worked great. I've ended up keeping it in the hood, but it's nice to know it's waterproof just in case. The suction is tremendous - I've set it once and haven't had to touch it even with multiple cleaning and the hood moving around, it has stayed in place. The number of different color options are overkill, but they are quite fun and bring out different views of the fish and plants in the tank. My kid has a lot of fun with that. But the main reason I bought it was for the plants, and they are now thriving! Excellent value and great addition. I'm already planning to get another for my larger tank I'm setting up soon.

Solid construction and materials, good remote. Very dim compared to other lights I have owned of the same size. Would not recommend.

8 inch LED light
Like the size . You can pick different sizes for yor needs . I have a 20 gal tank & I went with the smallest one * the 8 inch . It may not be to bright on different colors but that is what I wanted.I like the different colors options .I am a beginner at aquariums and the manual for this product does not give you any information on how to use the remote wich is why I am very dissatisfied with this manual. I am still working on the remote and how to use it .The suction cups on the lights do work very well but due to they turn when putting them on the light they fell off several times once I saw you had to turn them to keep in place they stayed in place and have not fell off.The remote control does not have a timer on it so you can't select different times to come on . Once on it stays on and what ever color options you pick .Again I am a beginner so I am learning as I go . Again I picked the smallest light due to it was the lowest wattage & that is what I was looking for.Would I recommend this product:Yes... only if you want something simple to use for a cheap price.So for I had this light for almost 2 weeks & I am happy with this product.

Great for my 1.5 Gal tank
The 7” was the perfect size for my 1.5 Gal Betta tank. I looked everywhere for something small enough for his tank and I finally found one.
