Best Filter
These are clean, clear and strong. They filter well and no funny taste. This is what I buy all the time with no need for the measurements. I highly recommend. Remember, you get what you pay for. These are great. I would just go through the company, but Prime gives me free ship.

I'm not a connoiseur of coffee filters but the Melitta filters seem to do a great job

For High-end Coffeemakers
I read about 50 other reviews before writing this one. I address some comments accordingly. Since my review is otherwise "glowingly positive", I began with the negative. On the Negative--Fulfillment:I ordered 100 filter pack. I received 40 filter pack. To their credit, the company refunded my full purchase price in lieu of a return. I'm tempted to give them another chance.--Product:According to other reviews, do not attempt to use these high-end filters with your $10 coffeemaker. It would sorta be like using "premium gas" in your lawn mower. Alternative example, image buying your granny the newest and greatest I-phone or Samsung Note when she makes 10 calls a week and hasn't heard of Twitter. You will have missed the point.Positive:If you put out for the $$ Cuisinart or any other mid-to-high end coffee maker that "trickles" scalding-hot water "slowly" over your coffee beans, you are going to love these filters. My coffee maker apparently burns hotter and pours water slower than those relevant to the 1-2 star reviews. While I remember my college days too, I suggest these users "up their game" in the coffee maker department. They are missing out on a quality cup of coffee if the machine is dispensing lukewarm water that fast. No seriously, find somebody with a high end coffee maker and ask to make a brew of your particular coffee beans in their coffee machine. When you taste your coffee beans as prepared in their coffee machine, you will finally understand what it means to have a quality cup of coffee. More often than not, I'm using a homemade _blend_ of store-brand (believe it or not -- AL-DI) coffee beans. I'm rivaling the quality of "*bucks".Maybe its just that this particular filter seems designed exactly for my coffee maker. The current for sale version of my coffee maker is the "Cuisinart DCC-1200 Brew Central 12 Cup Programmable Coffeemaker, Black/Silver." In any case, these filters rock. My household has tried about 5 other brands and has settled on this one.

Good Filters
I use these filters with an old Krupps Aroma coffeemaker from the early 1990's. The metal screen filter that came with the coffeemaker is a pain to clean. With the paper filter, I can just toss it and the coffee grounds in the trash. Plus, I think the coffee tastes a little better when using a paper filter.

I've ordered these white ones many times and have always been happy with them.
I have also used the brown Melitta filters previously and they seem to filter slower than than the white ones. They offer no detectable difference in taste. I therefore prefer the white ones. I've ordered THIS particular Amazon item 5 times from this same product link and always received the white ones in the past, but my last receipt was a package of brown ones. The main product description clearly says WHITE, so Amazon refunded my $ for the wrong item. NoW I see from in the listed features under the description, conflicting information:Material Glass [NO, THESE ARE NOT MADE OF GLASS, THEY ARE PAPER]Color Brown [THE MAIN DESCRIPTION SAYS WHITE]Brand MelittaShape ConeNumber of Pieces 1 [THE MAIN DESCRIPTION SAYS 100, NOT 1]

Number 4 to fit my Black & Decker
I got this brand new digital coffee machine a Black & Decker and it has this cone-shaped filter funnel that goes inside but I hate empty in it and washing it out every time so I decided to invest in cone filters and this has made my life much easier. I'm sure everyone says it's just a filter but if you think about the time that I was spending cleaning out the one that came with the actual Machine versus putting in this little paper pouch and throwing it away everyday I'm saving myself a whole lot of time. Also with the pouch I've decided to add it out into a compost mound. Do I know how to compost absolutely not. Are there a bunch of flies around my compost Mound yes but I feel like I'm giving back to the Earth and that is a benefit to me.
