I just purchased a new Toro 42" Timecutter Zero Turn mower. It didn't come with a hour meter so I purchased this. It can't get much easier to install and works as it should. It starts counting the hours when you sit on the seat and start the mower. Not sure why Toro doesn't have one standard as they have the cutout to put this meter into and the wiring already there.

Fantastic hour meter for many different engine powered tools. I bought this for my Toro Timecutter riding mower. There was a factory hole and wire already in place for this hour meter. It fit perfectly. It's display is bright. It looks like it was factory installed. So install time took about 1 minute. For me, it was a simple plug and play. It worked as soon a it was plugged in. A fantastic value. Saved me about $50 from buying the OEM unit. This is a highly recommend.

I installed this on my 2024 Bad Boy Rebel zero turn mower. Hour meter that came with mower lasted one season of mowing. New hour meter fit right in slot. Old meter hooked up to spark plug wire by rapping it around wire at least six times. This sucks new hour meter I wanted to hook it up to battery. Mower had a USB plug in built in . I did not have to run wires all the way to the battery. I disconnected wires from the USB port Yellow is hot, black is ground. Followed new meter wiring instructions and hooked it up. When the key is on accessory or run it works perfectly fine. This was a good buy Bad Boy meter would of cost me $80.00

This recent purchase was a replacement for one that was purchased in 2019 or early 2020. It is being used as a hour meter for my CNC, when it "see's" 120v across it's leads, it's counting time, when the power is removed it stops. As far as accuracy, I didn't test with a stop watch, however seat of the pants monitoring and it's as close as it needs to be for maintenance intervals, etc. I haven't tried this with DC power, but no reason not to assume it wouldn't work as advertised. It's mounted in the bottom right hand corner of the picture in the table.

Just as good as OEM. Installation was a breeze, works like a charm. If you're unsure watch a YouTube video.

Not accurate, not even close. Ran for 45 min and it read .1 hours. Ran it another 30 min and read .2. Reached out to company with no response.

I have a Toro Timecutter Havoc 54 and it fit perfectly. The wiring is already set up so installation was really easy. Make sure to file the sides of the cutout on your mower if it doesn't slide right in on the first try. Definitely a better option than paying $80+ for the Toro brand hour meter.
