Babyganics Mineral Based Sunscreen Spray - SPF 50+ - Fragrance Free - 6.0 oz

This is the only sunscreen I will now use for my kids as it is easy to apply but still gives them good protection. A lot of the mineral sunblocks are really thick and hard to get good coverage and I always miss spots. This sunblock glides on and makes it so easy. Highly recommend.

Yes!! Just Yes!! I can only use mineral sunscreens now and find most of them either greasy or chalky. My skin is very pale, breakout prone and super sensitive. For me this spray is the best version of the mineral type of sunscreen. Yes, there is a slight white residue, but this is the best formulation I've found. I use it every day on my neck, chest and hands. I have used this on my face with no breakouts, as long as I wash off at night. I generally use another face product with spf, but will apply this underneath if I know I will have a lot of sun exposure. To apply to the face, spray on your fingers and smooth. To apply anywhere else, spray the area firectly and rub it in. Such a relief that it isn't greasy. Easy with kids, but understand that mineral sunscreen has a white cast, especially if over applied.

Seems like it's a spray but it's more like runny lotion that comes out. You may as well have it squeeze out in a regular bottle. It would be less messy. There is no advantage to the spray like you might think. Otherwise it's fine.

I really love this sunscreen! I bought this for myself to use primarily as a facial sunblock. I really love that it doesn't feel as greasy as other products I've used. It doesn't seem to have any negative affects on my skin, only positive thus far. A little goes a long way so I believe this bottle will last me awhile; and when I am out, I plan on ordering more unless I can discover a more natural product. I have shared it out on day trips with my fair-skinned brothers, boyfriend and friends and they have all enjoyed it as well. It's a nice size bottle and a good product to have. No burns this summer!

I used this sunscreen in the manner described on the bottle, (although it says to wait 15 minutes before going outside and I waited 30 minutes as per recommendation by all skin specialists, physicians, etc,), and I was only outside for an hour and became sunburned, (and not lightly either). I am not fair skinned, applied a thick coating, rubbed it in well and the expiration on the bottle is March of 2017. I will not purchase this product again and if you want to protect your skin properly, it might be best to find a better product. Considering it's now been discovered that at least 80% of sunscreens don't work like the manufacturers say they do, and noting that Babyganics is 'not' of the list of EWG's best sunscreen list, it's time to find something different.Just an update that I have read that Consumer Reports only rates this in the middle when it comes to protection for UVA and UVB protection. So again, a different product might be in your consideration if you want the best coverage.

Works well. No obnoxious smell

Note that this still needs to be applied by hand, or rubbed in. I used this on my one-year old who had never had sunscreen on before. We both have very sensitive skin and this did not irritate either of us. The spray makes the lotion very thin, which is very easy to apply to a wriggly kid. It also comes with two plastic tops (a large plastic one and then a very small one over the spray section) which was nice when I wanted to throw it in the diaper bag and not worry about leaks.
