I purchased these brakes at the recommendation of my mechanic, who installed them. He told me not to get anything else so obviously he thinks they are great. I am not a mechanic so all I can say about them is that they stop my car and don't sound like metal on metal like the old ones. Also according to my mechanic the price was good compared to what he would have paid for them at wherever he purchases his parts from. He is a neighbor so he cuts me a break (no pun intended) by letting me purchase my own parts online.

Had no problem installing these pads. When I tested and broke the pads in I was surprised by the smooth feel and the lack of any dust. So far, a couple of months noticed the feel has improved. It may be my imagination, but My personal opinion is that the stopping distance is shorter and the foot pressure applied is less. The pads were put on a 1998 Lexus, mostly' 60% by my wife. She has expressed a positive feeling about the braking. I plan to install the same pads in a second Lexus, 2000. I Apologize for the vague generalities, but in short, we like the fell of the brakes.
