Very good text with some of Morrisons great poetry

I got this to replace my old one that was destroyed in a flood. It's my favorite and I am so happy to have it again.

Jim Morrison shines in this poetry book. He is an amazing poet

Jim Morrison will never get any credit in your run of the mill poetry classes, but he really deserves it. I guess if you start out as a rock star, you can't be respected enough as a poet alone. Either way, to hell with anyone who says otherwise, Jim Morrison wrote with great depth, and his poems have a seething darkness to them which really speak to me. His poetry stands on it's own as something amazing, and I recommend you buy this book.

He spine of the book was split, but other than it being a bit more used than I was expecting it is very readable.

I bought this for my boyfriend for his b-day. He had mentioned one day that he would love to have one of Jim Morrison's books of poetry and I made a mental note and got him this one & 2 others. He's a huge fan and was very pleased when he got his gifts. They're sitting on his shelf but I think its one of those things where you're just happy to own the item bc you're sucha a fan....hopefully anyway..haha.

Beautiful. Volume 1 Wilderness and Volume 2 American Night are the best and ONLY Jim Morrison poetry collections you need. They have everything, Pamela Courson's parents helped to put them together and I believe they did a magnificent job. His writing is magical and wicked. He was a true poet at heart.
