Easy to use, unsure how to sanitize
I love these bottles because they are so easy to fill and store and they keep me from having to open and reopen the large containers of juice and iced tea that we buy which keeps the liquids from being contaminated by airborne spores and bacteria or sitting out because there isn't room in the refrigerator for the large containers.The only downside I have found is since they are not dishwasher safe I am not sure how to properly sterilize them. Using a standard bottle brush leaves small micro scratches inside which can then hold bacteria/germs. Without being able to properly sterilize the bottles I have noticed that even when I wash them thoroughly with hot water then dry and refill the bottles a few days after refill there are small floating particles that were not there upon the initial refill. Since there isn't really a way to tell if the person who is sniffling has a cold or just allergies avoiding using them when sick isn't really an option and honestly then what is the point of purchasing them?If I can find a way to sterilize them properly I will update my review and certainly buy again but until then I will be looking for a replacement that is easy to full sterilize.

By my own fault, not for hot things
I decided to make some tea and package them up for my husband to take them to work, and I guess I'm just stupid because the bottles melted very quickly. I guess the plastic of these bottles can't withstand hot water. (I say that because I have other plastic I use that's fine with hot water). Otherwise I think these are great, and I believe they hold more than 12 ounces, I almost wonder if I got sent 16oz instead somehow. They seal well and don't leak, and they're easy for my husband to throw in with his lunches to take to work.
