Excellent
This is amazing. We put this under our metal gazebo on back deck which get blazing hot in summer and couldn't sit under it.When we put this up with about a 1/4 8n air gap it stopped all the heat transfer. Now it is almost same temp as under our tree. Easy to cut not too fragile. I would buy again. Just use the right doublesided tape

Easy to deal with, does the job
Liked having different options on thickness and sizes here: I just used them to insulate a deer blind. Does the job well, and easy to install.

As described
Works well. Applied them to my windows and they darkened the room well as well as blocks that heat from outside. It’s been a few months and so far so good.

Cooled down Texas home
I live in an HOA and needed a white backing so I wouldn’t get fined. Even with the white side to the windows it helped cool the west facing, upstairs section of the house tremendously.(**We’re in Texas with no shade and MONTHS of humid 100+ degree temperatures so this was a big deal!)I love that it’s foam and not bubble wrap first of all. Second it’s so easy to work with compared to the bubble wrap option. The foam is easy to cut with a utility knife/razor, scissors were cumbersome but will work too. We used packing tape to attach to the window frame. After a month of use I am definitely happy with the product.

Great for insulating metal roofing!
Ordered this Smart Shield reflective insulation to prepare for a metal roof and I was amazed at how well this worked to keep the heat off the house. Its July and yes, its roofing time. Sometimes you just do the projects when you can, right? So I ordered this 24"x50ft from Amazon and it made it fine, but when I ordered the 48"x100ft- well, it was undeliverable. Got a refund, and just ordered directly from Smart Shield. They were great! So if you need a lot of this- I suggest going to their website to order. Back to the product review: this is only 3mm, so very thin, but very effective. Also, I have to say how glad I was for cloudy (not rainy) days when putting this stuff up because once the sun hits this, its like looking across the lake or bright white snow- its pretty blinding! And the heat radiating off this can be pretty intense on a hot summer day! Overall, this was comparable to other brands of reflective insulation. I just prefer this over the bubbles. I'm sure there are multiple uses for this- indoors/garage, RV, vehicle, etc. It certainly seems worth the price! Great company to work with, too!

Flimsy easy to poke holes or tear
I purchased this for the white siding in my windows, after using another (bubble) product on a back full window. It was thin & flimsy enough to easily put up in the window corners behind blinds & staple in. However every crease left a tiny hole. I noted that Had to be extremely careful while measuring and cutting it that I didn’t Nick the actual reflective side. I kept it because it’s served my primary purpose of obscuring the windows and creating the outside layer of an air space. But for my attic and serious applications I will seek out another product.

It Works! Best Defense Against The Sun!
Installed in a west facing bedroom that also shared a wall with the garage. Room always stayed at least 3 degrees warmer than the rest of the hous. After installing, there is only a 1 degree difference. Live on the east coast of Florida. 75 degrees is what I keep the thermostat at in recent 93 degree weather ~ room with this installed remained at 76 degrees. Very pleased ; an inexpensive solution
