Looks amazing in my sons Golf, easy to install ( took around 10 mins)Sat nav works well, simple to set up Spotify and other apps, can watch YouTube on it and even watch movies, Bluetooth, hands free.SD card slot if you want to add more.Brilliant value for money.This exceeded my expectations (especially for the money)

On a positive note, it did look good in the car but it is an awful stereo. As a Sat Nav it is useless, the google maps app takes an age to open up and allow you to set a destination, then the app either shuts down or location freezes. I didn’t once use it successfully. Waze was almost as bad.As a music player it is average at best but only if you play through Bluetooth, if you try to download a music player like Spotify it can’t cope. The sound quality was ok but my old stereo was better. My iPhone 12 thinks it is a pair of Bluetooth headphones so turns down volume every couple of hours play.It doesn’t fully integrate with my VW Passat, the steering wheel controls were the wrong way round, and reverse sensor display was so slow you would have hit something before it even showed on the screen.Screen mirroring works most of the time. I did mirror google maps to it but my phone had to be held on its side for it to fill the screen and you lose the ability to control music or anything else on the touch screen.The instructions are not very comprehensive and a complete mystery. After contacting Joyx and many emails trying to convince me the stereo will work I have given up and put my 10yr old factory fitted stereo back in which is much better. Stereo was not fit for purpose, sent it back for a refund.

Removing stock head unit and inserting this new one in 2013 Golf Cabriolet was a breeze, however understanding the wiring was a nightmare. I had to watch several not quite the same head unit installs on YT before I could get anywhere. The socket from the car wiring loom was straight forward but then it was all the wires and cables that came with the unit. It is now powered on and seems to be working ok, and I have so many questions that aren't in the manual! Like - I have a DAB aerial but can't see where to connect, why can't I change the date/time format to UK (dd/mm/yy), why doesn't the unit turn off when I turn off the ignition.... I am sure my list is going to get longer - just wish the manufacturer had a website with all this info, but I guess when you buy cheap Chinese that's what you get.

I cannot fault the fit and the ease of installation.My big criticism is the speed and responsiveness of the system.Transition from one feature to another was often laborious and distracting, I would often lose media output whilst trying to set sat nav destinations and would often take longer than the trip to input an address into the nav app.I wouldn't avoid this unit as it's functionality out straps most standard fit units, just beware the software quality is not the best.

The media could not be loaded. I really love the product and it's scene quality is good as well but I really had a hard time fixing it to the dashboard and I had to cut the bottom part in the radio hole before it could fit inside even duo in the description it say it's compatible with Altea xl 2008.

Was okay for about 3 weeks. Abit slow but worked. Now completely dead. Won't turn on just black screen, tried resetting etc with the button at front and even plugged it fully out at the back of the unit and then back in. Wouldn't recommend unfortunately

Easy to install, sound is just a bit better than the standard VW unit. Overall it’s worth buying it.

It's only android 10 not 12, incredibly slow and it's not proper Android Auto. Returned for a refund
