Nice tools to have!
I'm new to leather working, but comparing this set of tools to a name brand here in town, the quality seems to be just as good. i would recommend purchasing this set.

Cheap. Not very well defined stamp.
They work. I'll start spending a little more for better quality stamps in the future.

Work "OK" but there are better out there.
If you look at the business end of a stamp and the features are not sharp, your stamping won't be either. Look at close-up pictures of cheap stamps vs high quality ones, the definition on these stamps is a little dull and you can see this in your work. These stamps work "OK" and I get it "You want to get busy making something." Tooling is time consuming fussy work. Bad tooling is a bummer to experience and a wastes time and expensive material. It's so frustrating it can make you want to quit the hobby. You see these kits of 20 or more stamps and it seems like a great deal. It's not. I have over 150 stamps... I use about 15. Honestly, save your money and buy the best quality stamps you NEED. Watch a ton of leather tooling videos and videos on what stamps you need, this will give you a good place to start.Remember to not "over-wet" when casing your leather. I spray it incrementally with a spray bottle until its wet to the center. Then I let it set until the color of the surface returns to the color it was before you wet it. When you do your stamping have a very hard, dense surface under your leather, like a slab of granite (any rebound hurts sharpness and can make you double strike). Also, use painters tape on the opposite side of the surface you are tooling, this will prevent the leather from stretching out of shape and size

Great set of leather Staming tools
I really like the quality and the price wasn't bad for what you get. They work quite well for leather stamping. I like the patterns they create. Good set for starters!

Very Poor quality -- No detail
Having just gotten into leather craft, I was excited about using these stamps for the first time on some knife sheaths I was making. As a beginner, I was lured in by the cheap price. This is definitely a case of getting what you pay for. Luckily, I first practiced on some scrap leather before ruining one of my sheaths. The detail of the imprint that the stamp left was non existent. Specifically, the basket weave stamp was so blurry that you could not line up the next imprint and it got worse as I continued leaving a crooked pattern. I kept trying various different methods of stamping trying to get a clean imprint to no avail. I finally gave up. I then went to a local Tandy Leather store and purchase a single basket weave stamp for $6.99. I could tell just by looking at the Tandy stamp the difference was going to be night and day. I was not wrong. Spend the couple extra dollars for a quality stamp. It makes all the difference in the world.

Leather stamps...?
I bought these stamps to do holsters... As you can see in the pictures you have to hit them pretty hard but there's still not much imprint from the stamps... (front and back) You can't really feel the designs on the stampers themselves, they are rounded off unlike the one you use to get from Tandy leather co. that are sharp and define... I have some of those... These are terrible... I don't see how these got 4 stars... But you get what you pay for... Some times I wonder why I throw money away on cheap overseas junk... It's a "don't buy" from my point of view...
