I Was Craving Musk Sticks
When I was a kid, my Australian cousins worked for Qantas and made regular trips to SFO, then would spend a couple of days with us. They always brought a care package from down under. Musk sticks were always in the bag. My mom, sister and I loved them. My dad thought we were nuts. It's definitely a love or hate thing. I love them! The days of my cousins' frequent visits are long since over, and I have missed these treats. I saw them on Amazon and had to get them. Memories came flooding back as I enjoyed each perfumy bite.

Not for everyone
Definitely an acquired taste. I wanted to try them, but they are not for me. An overpowering rose scent, and then just sugar dissolving in your mouth.

A Taste Down Memory Lane
Just as good as I remember as a kid growing up.Musk Sticks are a must-have purchase for a trip down memory lane if you grew up in Australia and loved finding these with your comics when you got home from school in the 70's.My purchase was empty by the end of the day that I received them.......YUM !!!

Odd flavor, somewhat reminiscent of Sen-sens/Ben-Hurs
First, it's important to note that this is NOT a 12 pack of 125g packages, as listed in the description. You only get a single pack ~ 125g. So it's not cheap.Second, the pack I got was hard as a rock and all of the sticks were fused together. I didn't really care much as I was going to break them up into small pieces for snacking, but if you want sticks... well. But third and most importantly... these are floral and soapy and oddly delicious. There used to be a candy called Ben-hurs or Sen-sens, which were a Canada mint textured, after dinner mint zised candy made and distributed in US Mid-Atlantic states. These are as close as I've found to them in about 25 years of looking. Mild anise, violet, rose and geranium combined, and no they were not the same as the breath freshener small tar like candy called Sensens. These musk sticks aren't 100% correct, but close...

Floral
If you don't care about the fact it's made with deer oil it tastes like dried flowers and has the texture of double bubble with twice the sugar and half the gumminess. Occasionally burns the tongue on certain bites like cloves. Very good 8/10+

Delicious!
These are difficult (nearly impossible) to find in the US. I'm so glad to find them, they are a unique flavor, a favorite!

Acquired Taste
Tastes like musk cologne smells. It's not chewy like a twizzlers, but has a texture like bazooka qum without turning into gum. Definitely not for everyone, but I enjoyed it, even my french-vanilla-husband finished a stick.
