I love the taste! I add it to a cup of hot coffee & a little vanilla creamer- AMAZING! I’ve ordered numerous times, no issues with the packets of product but the box is usually squashed when delivered. Best hot cocoa ever♥️

I've tried several other brands and they're awful. This is the closest to regular hot chocolate there is. It's a little pricey but it also has a good protein content so it's worth it for me.

I prepared wholesome provisions Cocoa with 7 ounces of hot whole milk. The gelatin ingredient immediately made it thicker and gave it a creamy look and mouth feel. Even though I mixed it long and well, the last several sips contained large globules of gelatin! The flavor is very weak. I detected neither chocolate flavor nor smell. The smell was off putting. The taste was like very sweet water and there was definitely a nasty after taste. In looking at the ingredients and nutritional breakdown I noticed that it has the same amount of calories and carbohydrates as most other hot cocoa mixes. The only difference is the added "protein" in the form of gelatin. Anyone who wants a protein cocoa would do much better to buy their favorite Cocoa (one of my faves is Starbucks because it has about 40 calories less than most and tastes very chocolatey and not overly sweet) and simply add a serving of bovine collagen peptides to the cup as you mix it. The collagen adds no flavor but certainly adds healthier protein than gelatin!Overall I can't give this Cocoa mix more than one star, and I don't think it even deserves that. Sorry I threw it out.
