Yes did the job well - clamped onto a heavy duty tarp and although not tested in high winds I’d have confidence it would hold. You can also thread a 8mm cable through it which was useful when needing to tension the tarp along its edge. The only annoying aspect was the nut would often fall off if you weren’t careful screw it back in after use.

These clips are extremely versatile, simple to position and reposition if necessary and secure. Most importantly do not damage material to which they are attached.

Great product wish I had have had these years ago when I was a scout leader

I live in a very windy part of the country and leave my car out side covered up as i don't use it every day, the wind would try and lift the cover off but since using these crocodile clips and bungie rope i can secure it firmly around the car. If you need to secure a sheet around your garden table and chairs these are well worth buying.

Work well

These tarpaulin clips are excellent, strong, tough and solidly made.The crocodile jaws clamp on the tarpaulin with a screw down thumb screw which make it impossible to pull off or work loose, opposite end has a 10 mm hole for bungees or rope. What an great clip well worth the price. I highly recommend.

Purchased these, among others elsewhere, to hold down garden sail. Did the job but, unlike other brand, these are brittle plastic and I ended up snapping two by over tightening. Also the screw falls out of the body unlike the others that are captive.

Good strong clips with a firm grip - and for tarp clips, the bigger the better: lightweight ones cannot be tightened enough to hold fast, but these have been great.
