Great for Nurses
Great product to keep on your badge to date bandages, iv sites, or simply because you left your pen at the nurses station and need a signature. Drying time is quick with no smudging. Very durable and versatile in the health care field.

Great for badge reels
If you need a sharpie for marking/labeling products on a job site, and you wear a badge reel, this is perfect for you. It is lightweight, holds well in place in a key ring (purchase separately), and extremely convenient. It makes for a quick grab and write without fumbling for a marker or losing it somewhere around a desktop. I’ve tried cheaper versions, but the best option is with the name brand Sharpie. I kept coming back for the product, and now I wont purchase anything else. It’s a must buy if you are in healthcare as well!

Handy Size for Shirt Pocket
Update, 01/06/23First: after repeatedly popping the cap on and off, I’m now able to remove it with less effort. But, it’s still a bit tighter than it needs to be.Second: I’ve discovered that the small, black top cap that has the built-in, triangular, metal clip is removable. Just apply upward pressure on the metal clip, and the plastic top cap comes right off, and it can be snapped back on if need be.I ordered these Sharpie Mini markers to carry in my shirt pockets. I’m a big fan of Sharpie markers, but the regular sized Sharpies take up a little too much pocket space. The Mini markers eliminate that problem.Pros: (1) At about 3.5” long, the Mini Sharpies are about two inches shorter than the standard Sharpie marker, so they take up much less shirt pocket room; (2) the caps have a small, triangular, rotating metal attachment to allow it to be attached to a key ring; (3) the caps also have a pocket clip; (4) the permanent ink flows smoothly from the fine point tips.Cons: (1) There’s only on con, but it’s a biggie: the cap snaps “securely” onto the body of the marker. The problem is, the 1.5” caps snap way too securely onto the short body of the marker, making it close to impossible to get them off. The combination of small dimensions and slippery grip surfaces, coupled with an extremely tight fitting cap make cap removal a real problem. The only way these caps can be removed is to use the kind of rubber gripper that’s used to remove stubborn jar caps.Of the dozens of regular sized Sharpie markers I’ve used over the years, I’ve never experienced a problem like this. So, it’s possible that I just received four Mini Sharpies, fitted with slightly defective (undersized) caps, that slipped by Sharpie’s quality control team.

Staple on my badge holder
I'm a nurse so I always have to have a little Sharpie on hand that gets used daily. I've never liked having to carry a Sharpie in my pocket for fear of it leaking. The cap has a little attachment that stays on my badge holder so when recapping you can actually disconnect the cap from the badge holder. This prevents ink stains on the shirt when recapping the pen.The pens write thin enough with light pressure whereas firmer pressure will produce a bolder style. They are also very durable - I am just now replacing my last Sharpie after about 9 months of use!My worry had been that the cap attachment would come loose but it never did.Very satisfied with this purchase!

Expensive
They are cute and can be clipped to key chain, but way too expensive for what it is
