Capping disused chimneys was quick & easy
Had new fascia & gutters fitted so took advantage of the scaffold & climbed up to the roof, measured our chimney pots diameter (11") & bought x3 C-Cap (300mm) on Sunday, apparently arriving the following Friday. They arrived today (Tuesday), which is super early & a super awesome service. The scaffold is still here so I've been up on the roof again literally 15 mins after.Assembly is simple, just check the slots for which spring bar fits first, stand them in & tighten the retaining clip. Fitting is just as easy. Put two of the spring legs inside a pot, then push the other two in (together or one at a time, your choice). Push the cap down flat onto the pot top & you're done.It took about 10 mins total for my three, they look smart, are ventilated & many reviews say they hold up well in high winds (we shall see). I'm just happy the rain won't get in. They feel solid, the springs are firm, they do everything a more expensive clay or metal cap will do for way less money... so even if it looks pricey for what they are they do seem to be great value for money in comparison. No grouts or sealant required. Highly recommended.

Good product
Good fit with just a small air gap around the edge. Easy to install and even better value now it's been reduced in price.

Supringly Good
Bought to replace an old pot on a disused chimney. It's easy to assemble, the retaining frame has to be shaped slightly to get into the chimney pot, but once in fits solidly. Be interesting to see how much it fades due to UV as it's plastic. All in all it does what it says on the tin.

Chimney cap
So easy to fit and does an excellent job of stopping chimney drafts and weather on a disused flu. Use in conjunction with a Sheep Sweep for double protection

Seems great!
I've had this on a dissused chimney for over two years now.As anyone knows, we have had some pretty rough weather in the last couple of years but this is still steadfastly fixed to my chimney cap. Very happy customer.

50% success rate
Buoght four, after one windy day two are still there two are gone and shattered when they hit the ground so can't be reinstalled. I'd honestly buy something that fixes on better the wind just sucked these right off and they're so brittle they didn't stand a chance in the fall.
