I bought a rebuilt Roomba to do the upper level of the main floor. This one has a camera that maps the layout of the house so you can see where it's been. This one knows where it's recharging station is way better than the older model that seems to need to be rescued often.

Wow. What a product. I just took a chance and bought this. What a time saver. If you have a dog that sheds you need this. Great on carpets and hard floors both. I run it every day throughout the whole house.

Unable to even turn the vacuum on. I received it today and there is no cord for me to plug the charging dock. Which will cost me additional $$ to replace at Walmart.Update. It's been three nights. I'm still not happy with this vacuum. I programmed it to run at midnight, nightly. Unfortunately it leaves it's home base and then spends the rest of the night 2 feet from its base staring at the wall. Ive requested a refund. And I'm going back to pushing a vacuum by human.

BUYER BEWARE. The robot vacuums well. However, the pictures show the app with a home mapped out. THIS MODEL DOES NOT DO THAT. I was looking for a discounted robot vacuum that would perform this and that's literally the reason I purchased this. I'd like to note that it does make a virtual map of what it's cleaned, however, it forgets this when it runs its next job. This virtually serves no purpose other than to tell you where it's cleaned. If you want a vacuum that you can dictate where it cleans, look to a different model.

This thing is amazing!We used to have an off brand robot vacuum and purchased this Roomba because they no longer make replacement brush heads for the off brand version we had.On the first running of the Roomba, I was obsessed. This Roomba vacuums in a back and forth pattern, the off brand version randomly bounced around the room. The suction on the Roomba is strong enough to create perfect vacuum lines. I have attached a picture of the amount the Roomba picked up after the first cleaning. The amount it picked up after the old one had run the day before is astounding.We have an open concept main floor and the Roomba will cover most of the floor plan on one charge. When the battery needs recharging it goes back home, charges, and then goes back out to the areas it didn’t get in the first pass. We have a mixture of hardwood floors, area rugs, and high pile carpet on the main floor and it navigates all transitions with ease.We have two cats (and a wife with long hair). This Roomba picks up the pet and human hair without clogging. The brushes are rubber so my wife’s long hair doesn’t get tangled around the brush heads. I recommend taking the brush heads out once a week to clean the ends, long human hair can get wrapped around the attachment points.The app makes it easy to operate and I love that you get a map of the areas that were cleaned.The only downfall is I catch myself watching the Roomba do it’s work instead of doing something else while my robot vacuums for me!
