Q: Where are the tabs that people are talking about for making it stick? This is useless.

This is a complex product, and requires some studying to make it work without a single problem. Those tabs on one side of the product stay there until the Tegaderm is applied to the skin. 1: Cut the product to the correct size, being careful to maintain the integrity of the product. 2: Peel off the layer that is OPPOSITE to the strip of tabs, to expose that adhesive side. Be careful to hold it to avoid wrinkles. 3: Apply the Tegaderm carefully to the skin holding it smoothly and press it in place. 4: Pull the rows of tabs to release the product and let it adhere to the skin. 5: Press down on the Tegaderm carefully, making it adhere to the skin. I use alcohol wipes to clean the skin where the Tegaderm is to adhere, before I do anything else. I use this to cover fresh tattoos after I apply a healing product to the skin on the tattoo before I begin to do anything. The Tegaderm will stay in place for a week at least, and you can bathe and do regular functions with it on.

Q: Is this a tape that will not come off with sweating?

It will not come off when sweating or showering.

Q: This is going to sound weird, but has anyone used this as a lift tape, for, you know, body parts that an older woman may need to boost?

Wonderfully phrased question. I’m sure 3 years later you have found your answer, but I will add this to the thread. Many other tapes are highly toxic and not meant for skin. If you have any skin allergies, or allergies to adhesives like I do, Tegaderm is the only way to go. It may be more expensive, but when compared to massive itching in places that might be socially awkward to be scratching constantly, or have large red welts when it’s removed, the price becomes pointless.

It has a peel off backing which makes it stick. Have u figured out how to separate the layers? I used it to heal tattoo and it worked great through many showers over many days
