Great bag for non-academic school usage
My teen is a very active participant at her high school. During the summer, she bikes there which means that she needs to be able to balance the weight on her back. She did not need a backpack for academics as she already has that. This bag is for her extras. She loves it. After 4 months, it has taken a lot of abuse with no signs of wear. The Velcro on the strap in the front allows her to adjust the bag without always having to pull it over her head. The triangular design still allows her to carry band shoes (think bulky men's dress shoes), water bottle, wallet, 8x11 sheet music, phone, and STILL there is room for spare summer clothes or one hoodie (depending on the weather). The bag itself is not bulky but it can carry what she needs. Not only has it worked out well for when she needs a smaller than backpack bag but I can see her using it for overnight. It would not work for a school bag if the student uses more than a smaller laptop or 2 textbooks.

Great bag, sturdy with pockets.
I got this for my 13 year old son who wanted a sling back pack. It is a good size and he can fit quite a bit in it. He is left handed, but either it doesn't bother him that he has to put it on one side or he manages to put it on the other shoulder. He likes the multiple pockets and it seems quite sturdy. He used it when he went to Scout Camp this summer and it is still looking strong after a (gentle) spin through the washer to clean it up. It seems a little bit bulky to me, because the material is thick, and the front strap has pockets, but my son thinks it is perfect and uses it daily.

Works for me...
This bag serves the primary purpose I purchased it for and that was to use it to store my tablet, phone, headphones, a couple of magazines, travel documents, a few minature bottles of booze, brush and comb, and a snack or two while traveling. The bag is very sturdy and supports the weight of all those things without the bottom sagging. The large compartment holds all the things I need without being cramped but not too loose either. The smaller compartment holds keys, phone, change, pen without any issues, although it would be nice if it had pen slots, business card size slots, etc. sewn into it. The other really small pocket is good for gum, and works well to throw your smartphone in real quick when going through security at the airport. Overall I'm pleased with the bag. I wish it had a zippered documents pocket on the back like another bag I have, but I managed without it. And, it would be cool if the large compartment had it least one interior slot pocket for papers. The cell phone pocket on the strap isn't big enough for a smartphone at least not my HTC Evo. So, I put my keys in it. The bag fits easily under an airplane seat without taking up too much foot space. It worked well for me. I would have given it 5 stars but I wasn't impressed with the look of the bag that much and because i think it could use some minor tweaking. BTW, I use a keyboard with my tablet so it actually ends up being about the size of a small laptop. I also have it in a nice cover that adds to it's size and weight. This bag is large enough and sturdy enough to carry and support a small laptop as well.

The key ring attached at the top on the outside is useful for hooking on a water bottle
I have been using this bag to lug around heavy college textbooks for my new semester and it has yet to malfunction. Zipper holds tight even when I'm stuffing way more than I should into it. The key ring attached at the top on the outside is useful for hooking on a water bottle. Don't expect to be able to fit most binders inside this however. Anything 11x11 inches or more is a pretty tight squeeze and. The outside zippered pouch is deceptively large. I managed to fit a 3DS, daily planner, phone charger, deodorant, and a pop-tart in it with extra room. Velcro on the strap has held up well even after 10 weeks of use. All around fantastic and a great price, also I love the color. It can carry a load but has size limitations.

The size and price
It was hard to a bag compatible in size to an old Nike bag I had. This is a great deal.

Good Bag. Comfortable strap. Nothing cutting edge here.
Good bag overall. Very, very comfortable strap with velcro and a plastic clip as extra assurance against separation. No outside mesh bottle holder and very simple pocket organization. Seems sturdy so far. Really has to set across your torse, unlike some sling bags that are comfortable when you quickly throw it over your shoulder. Design calls for a right shoulder to left waist carry, which is opposite of what I like, but I can live with that. The pocket on the chest strap is useless for modern day smart phones, seems bulky and in the way and only has a small piece of velcro to hold the flap closed. Not sure what I'd use it for.

My favorite pack; after 2 years of use!
Great durable bag that perfectly matches the color on Amazon. I've been using it for over a month and the strap shows no sign of coming loose. It also adjusts very easily to your size and comfort. After 2 years of use, minimum 5 days each week to work, the fabric on the strap where it gets most abuse on my shoulder just started to become frayed. Everything else works great! I have used each zipper at least every other day. No faded coloring, no jammed or broken zippers and no holes or tears in the strap connecting to the bag. For the price, I just bought another! The two pictures are of the bag after two years. I don't know what the other negative reviewers are doing ... perhaps tug of war.

Nice design - terrible quality
When I received this bag I thought I had found the perfect sling pack for those days when I commuted to work by motorcycle. I don't generally need to haul a lot of stuff back and forth, so the size was great and the price oh-so-low. When it arrived it looked great. It's a very simple bag, but suited my needs just perfectly. Now that I have had it for a month and used it no more than 10 times I see that the fabric is fraying apart from the seams and that it will only be a matter of time before it falls apart completely. Wouldn't you know it - I'm outside of my return period. I have just purchased a new bag, realizing that in instances such as this you usually get what you pay for. The new bag costs a lot more, but hopefully will last substantially longer. So, if you need a bag that you'll use just a few times, this is your bag. If you plan to actually use the thing for a while, stay away.
