A soft blanket should always have a place in a persons home. My latest Amazon.com purchase was this dark grey velvety throw. I recently settled into a new home and realized that I was in need of some bedding/blankets and throws. I have cats and they just love cuddling up in mine and my partners lap, especially when we have a soft blanket for them to lay on. It is typical for most blankets and throws to be comfy, but this one in particular is like putting your face against a cloud. The microfibers are well knitted and the seams are strong. I can't keep my cats off of me when I use this throw. It is not a full size cut like you would expect for bedding but 50" by 60", a good personal size that can be taken anywhere and is perfect for draping over your shoulders or across your lap and feet. I liked having the different color options to choose from and loved the inexpensive price. I ordered this beautiful purple HYSEAS Velvet Plush Throw from Amazon while testing out their PRIME membership and It arrived in two days just as promised.The luxurious feel of the blanket is wonderful and the brilliant color was not done justice by the photo online. It measures exactly as it should and the stitching around the hem if done perfectly. This blanket has some weight to it and is not just a cheap knock off of a throw. It does say in the directions NOT to use fabric softener on it and it should be hung up to dry. When washing it and drying I found that washing it on delicate cold and placing it in the dryer or "air dry" with a fabric softener SHEET allowed it to come out just as soft, fluffy, and colorful as it was when I removed it from the package.When buying blankets in the future HYSEAS brand will be at the top of my list for sure.Great buy at a great price.

This has to be the softest throw blanket ever. I bought it to have something convenient to lay the baby on in the living room rather than putting him on the yucky carpet. However, everyone in the family loves it so much that it is the fought over blanket.It is a beautiful neutral ivory color and I like the size – it covers the legs well when sitting but it is not too big as to be cumbersome. As I mentioned, the thing we love about it is the texture – it is super soft without being thick or heavy. In fact, it is surprisingly lightweight which is perfect for us since we live in a warmer area and do not have really cold weather.I originally planned to have our name monogrammed on it, but it has been in constant use since it arrived so I have given up on that. I have bought these throws from Kohl's or that is what I was thinking and instead of paying $40 for them I went this way and they are NOT the same. These are soft and comfy but thin and small. Not as warn so it is great for those cool spring/summer nights. I turn it corner to corner to cover me and I am 5'6. I will keep it as I love the deep purple color. This is what caught my attention. I have yet to wash it so we shall see if it sheds. My others do not, However, I do recommend this as it is nice just not what I was expecting.

I've purchased this blanket in several different colors for the master and guest bedrooms and I love them all. I also purchased 2 more to use for my new couch. We have 3 cats and 2 dogs and these blankets don't slide around and stay tucked into the couch very nicely. They wash well, I haven't experienced any pilling or thin spots. They are thin but warm. I use mine year round with a bedspread. Perfect for summer with the ac going and I live in South Texas and I keep my ac at 72°. During the colder months I keep the heater on 70°. When the temp drops below 40° I keep the heater at 72°. These blankets are quite nice. They don't slide around and stay in place with the sheets and bedspread. I would buy every color if I had a place to store them.

The cozy and warm throw measuring 50 X 60, is anti-pilling. .I plan to use it as an accent on my sofa because it has such a warm inviting color that will brighten the place up. The throw blanket is quality fabric that is shrink resistant, and it will retain its softness even after several washes. Because the blanket is 5 feet long, it is ideal for a child or smaller adult. The seams are well sewn all the way around with no loose threads or seams. I ordered my blanket in the burgundy color and it is certainly true to color.The washing instructions say to machine wash in cold water with similar colors and do not bleach. Also air fluff only and tumble dry low.

This really isn't fleece or micro fleece. I have much of both in throws, blankets and clothing. This is more like velour. It serves my purpose because I'm using it to protect an expensive recliner, and it feels very soft to lean against, plus the teal color is beautiful and matches my chair. My actual fleece throw is larger, so make sure the measurements of this item serves your purpose. It is very thin material, close to the same as my polyester/spandex velour pants, although it has the velour on both sides, not just one like my pants. I'd say it's for comfort, not warmth, good for warm weather or a warm enough room. Shipping was prompt and it's pretty, although it is a bit shiny, like my velour pants. I do wish there was more depth to the fabric.
